Digital LCD Indoor/Outdoor Humidity/Hygrometer and Thermometer

Pros: comes with battery
it has memory for highest and lowest meditions.
it has humidity medition also.

Cons: cable for outdoor sensor could be a little bit longer.
it might be not very acurate, because having both sensors in the same place give different temperatures (less than 0,5ºC)

Other: good item. if you want to know more or less the temperature, it is well spent money

Pros: Only problem is how to put outdoor temperature sensor not in the direct sun light. Good lcd screen. Accurate.

Pros: - Once tweaked (see below) works without issue
- Accurate to within 0.5 C
- Switch-able between Celsius and Fahrenheit (but who uses Fahrenheit anyway!)
- Displays relative humidity
- Min and Max readings can be set to trigger an alarm
- Has external sensor
- Displays external, internal temperature and humidity at the same time

Cons: When I first put a battery into the device the display was fragmented as if some of the LCD elements were not being displayed correctly. Unfortunately it was not a consistent effect. After opening it and taking it apart I saw that too much pressure was being applied between the PCB pads and the connector strip of the LCD. Leaving off one of the screws fixed the display issues and it has worked without issue ever since.

Other: - Once tweaked functions great and priced well given what it does.

Other: There's also a cheaper SKU here that is very good, but I like this one. Bought two. I would do it again if it wasn't for the recession making me a pauper overnight.

Pros: This "climate monitor" can display the indoor/outdoor temperature and indoor humidity. It can also memorize max/min levels.
The display is big and it has acceptable readability.
Temperature coincides with what I see on two other thermometers. Humidity is the same as shown by the hygrometer in the humidifier.

Cons: Display is not very contrasty and the "minus" sign is hard to see.

Other: I wish the outdoor probe would have had a longer cable and a sun shade.

I have no way to know the precision, but I think it is quite precise.

Other: I would buy it again! Often cheap items like those sold on the web are not well manufacture and tend to be fragile, but it NOT the case for this product. It is really robust.

Pros: Unusual for me to give top rating. when I first got the device, I thought it was faulty. Sitting on the kitchen bench, the inside and outside temp differed 3 degrees. After a while, I hung the outside sensor over the top of the thermometer and suddenly it only differed 0.1 degrees. The bench was cold... Easy to operate. Did not need the manual, however, could not use it anyway, no English... ;')

Cons: Did not get it for free ;) I can not think of any.

Other: I'll recommend it.

Pros: - inexpensive - nice build quality - good accuracy both for temperature (indoor/outdoor) and humidity (I compared it with my Boneco hygrostat and RST outdoor thermometer)

Cons: - lack of display contrast - no back-light

Other: If are an experienced in soldering then I recommend to install an SMD capacitor of 10 uF or so in parallel with the battery to prolong it's life.

Pros: -Has remote sensor -Has hygrometer -Does what is suposed to do -Cheap -Nice looking (not bulky)

Cons: -External sensor cable could be a little longer -Only has max, min records and reset. -Besides from that, it's pretty good.

Other: Nice gadget if you are looking for a thermometer with outdoor / indoor indicator.

Pros: - Accurate enough (compared with other devices including an "old-school" glass lab thermometer).
- Large readable display.
- You can put it on the wall or it can stand on a shelf.

Cons: - Cheap plastic, easily scratchable surface. A bit ugly look due to this and due to badly designed texts and logo.
- Short sensor cable, you'll have to put it directly on the window to measure the temperature outdoors.
- Battery compartment has no door.
- The plastic stand which allows it to stand looks very weak, you can easily break it accidentally.

Other: Still very good for its price.
