Pros: Cosine corrected, wide lux range. Excelent price. Light sensor independent.
Cons: It overstimates slighty cyan light (490-515nm). Need to manually change the lux range (just push a button)
Other: Excelent for hobbyist. Accurate enough, seems robust (compared with other cheap light meters. By far, the best price/ quality ive found.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Easy to use, even without the instructions. Great for testing overall improvement in modified lights. Has threaded insert on the back of the sensor for easy mounting. Carrying case and sensor protector are nice.
Cons: No real complaints for a light meter at this price.
Other: A good meter for the money, and should give fairly accurate readings for most lights.

Pros: - It works quite well and is quite sensitive. - Very easy to use. No need for manual really.
Cons: - Chinese manual only.
- It doesn't come with battery.
- Flip stand at back is very flimsy.
Other: This is a decent light meter which is great for flashlight hobbyist like myself who wants to compare relative output differences between flash lights.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: - Very consistent. - Great price. - Nice storage box. - Large measuring range.
Cons:
- Feels a bit flimsy. Its light weight makes it feel lower quality.
Other: I'm having lots of fun playing with this and have found it quite useful not just for my flashlights for use in metering the amount of light in various areas of my house to improve the lighting for reading. It feels a bit flimsy and fragile due to its light weight, but having not had any other lightmeters, I don't know if this is common. Thus far, it seems like a fine meter.

It .could use longer probe cord.
It is too easy to accidentally change ranges while running multiple tests.
Other: The phrase you get what you pay for ha never been more true.
