Digital Mosquito Repeller Keychain

Pros: I tested this thoroughly prior to making this review.
As a British National, living in Northern Ontario by The Lakes, I am normally a prime target for being bitten.
Prior to purchasing this, my only other options was to spray myself in bug repellent, & smell of citronella & have greasy skin.
My first test, was cutting the grass in my bug infested garden.
First time ever, that I did not get bitten.
I then gave some to some construction workers, who were working out on remote islands with many bugs, who reported that they too are impressed with it.
Just incase it was a fluke, I ventured back out in to my garden without this device & received 3 bites within 5 minutes.

Cons: None that I can find, will report back if I do find any.

Other: It cheap & it works (for me & the people I know at least).

Pros: Kind of good build guality, the battery lid won't get of in the first way.
battery seems to last for at least to nights. if it is even on?

Cons: Missing a small led to show if it's on or not. But that was just the first one. The second one I heard it was a small sound so now i hear if it's on. but 1 of 2 was broken.

Other: Tell in the item info that it should make a small noise when it's on

Pros: This mosquito repellent keychain works like a charm! It's very sturdy and very well-built. The unit is small in size and easy to carry around.
It comes with 2 settings. The first setting (you'll hear a beeping sound) repels fireflies and bats. The second setting (you'll hear a clicking sound) repels mosquitoes. There is also a very handy LED red flashlight at the bottom of the unit.
I had everyone in the family gave the mosquito repellent keychain a try. We carried the keychain with us to mow the lawn, walk the dog, and walk around the pond (where most of the mosquitoes are). We found that mosquitoes will still fly around us, but they won't land on us nor bite us. It's amazingly effective!!

Cons: I don't find anything that needs improvement. The unit is very well-designed.

Other: Get it, get it, get it! With this, you don't have to spray yourself with yucky, sticky bug spray and you don't have to wear those citronella bracelet!!

Pros: good build light weight and easy to use sweet little red light...........

Cons: maybe a light showing when on and thats about it not much bad about it................

Other: great buy you wil actually use it more than you think..........

Pros: I bought two of these and took them a week long caping trip and can say it works reletivly well, the first mode seems to work better then the second, the LED is enough to find the key you need or what have you.

Cons: -The sound emited by the first mode is a very high pitch squeel(Both of them emit the sound so its not just a defect),it gives me a headache after a few minutes and I cant stand to listen to it for any length of time.
-I am not sure what sort of build quality the people here are used to but I found it a little on the poor side, but for the price I guess you cant complain.
-LED isnt bright enough to really be used for much except finding your key.
-I ordered 2 and the LED on one of them is broken and only works when it wants to, probaly a bad button connection.

Other: If you can stand the squeel then go for it, but I cant stand it, there is another one on DX that supposedly emits not audible sound, maybe that would be the way to go for people with sensitive ears.

Pros: Small, fits easily on your keychain. (That's where I have mine!)
Very easy to use!
Handy red LED light for night-time adventures!
Actually keeps mosquitos away, and calms them down.

Cons: Build quality isn't great, but it isn't bad. If you dropped it, I'm sure it wouldn't break.
Switch felt a little loose.
High-pitched squeal of the first setting could eventually lead to a headache!

Other: It does what's its supposed to. I'd rather carry around a keychain sized device to drive mosquitos away rather than get bitten and have itchy bites for hours and days.
Everyone should buy one, just to check it out. It's priced right!

Pros: well there is a red light you can search the moskito with it...there is also a small dialer to chose between male sound and female..

Cons: a good thoght is I chose the wrong sound...but it not work at home when we sleep
it provide a loud sound so I can't sleep. .......

Other: maybe can work. my skin dont think so...
it seams to be a toy but there are batteris we can use
you need magnafy to see if it is male or female...

Pros: + Built in LED
+ Seems to work in *some* situations (maybe it only affects certain species?)
+ Two different modes

Cons: - Poor Build Quality. Cheap plastic scratches easily.
- LED is RED so it's not the best for seeing in the dark.
- Doesn't seem to work on most mosquitoes.
- Noise is absolutely horrendous and can become unbearable.

Other: Use some citronella patches instead. At least those don't make annoying noises. Although this device did appear to work once, it may have just been a coincidence.

Pros: Does what it says on the tin, partner usually manages to get bitten wherever we go (even in the back yard) but with this had no problems.

Cons: Build quality is pretty poor, but for this price, who cares.
As she is paranoid about mosquitos, also picked up one of SKU 14239, build quality is slightly better, but only marginally
Noise this makes is annoying, if youre the kind of person who gets annoyed by the whine from switch mode transformers, this will definitely annoy you.

Other: Handy litle bit of kit, but dont expect it to last too long. Buy three or four and you're golden

Pros: -device is light, portable, and doesn't get in the way
-built in key chain so you can take it anywhere you go
-includes an led light

Cons: -there are no blemishes in the physical aspect of the device.
-the repeller does work, but it doesn't repel the mosquitoes per se, it just somehow prevents the mosquitoes from landing and biting you, so you will still be surrounded by mosquitoes, some of which actually do bite you.

Other: Good gadget, very useful when it works.
