Digital Scale Calibration Weight (100 grams)

Pros: I needed an accurate weight to calibrate the two digital scales I ordered fom DX.

Cons: Checking and doublechecking the invoice it's clear that this is the item I ordered. (in addition to the two scales.)

Other: DX use the same item # for both the weight and the flash card. SKU 15761

The # on the card I received actually reads 2015671.

Pros: It's made of solid material and I verified their exact weight with a calibrated scale with .000 precision. They all weighted exactly 100 grams.
Also, it's pretty compact so you're able to use it even on small portable scales, I personnaly always travel with one so I can prove to people my scale is correctly calibrated.

Cons: I don't really see cons.

Other: Does the job it's intented to do. If you need to calibrate precisely a scale, buy some of these!

Pros: It's made of good material and came with no harm, tested in many scales and all of them measured 100g precisely.
It's good to have some of it to calibrate your scale.
It's very small so you can carry some of them with no problem, together with your scale.

Cons: I didn't noticed any problem.
Arrived in perfect shape.

Other: Does the job it was intended to do, so if you need some of them, go there and buy.

Pros: A good, solid weight. I had my item measured with a professional self-calibrating laboratory scale in a clean-room environment; the weight was 99,9908 grams. Quite respectable for the price.

Cons: An error in the weight of 0.01%. Negligible in most uses, but noticeable in very precise measurements.

Other: A good weight for the price. I'm just disappointed that DX doesn't have other weights available. For the price, I would buy a whole set.

Pros: Works well whith very exact to 100 g, as other rewviers found the same... You can find the trimming at the bottom... not sealed, but no con for me...

Cons: I can find no real cons at all for that decent price... But be aware, that most scales for callibration needs use exact the maximum wage... 300g maximum, you need 3 of this...

Other: Needed for calibration purposes only... If you are a scale owner, this might be interesting for you....

Pros: If you're picking up a 100 gram digital scale, this is a very nice addition. There's something just plain cool about knowing you're on the mark in your measurements. If nothing else, it makes you look like you know what you're doing! ;)

Cons: This is nit-picky, but... DealExtreme, couldn't you put that annoyingly tough sticker on the plastic bag instead of the weight? It was a devil to pick off and left behind a lot of glue that I had to clean.

Other: The measure of successful measurement! If you're getting a small scale, why not KNOW you're hitting the mark? Well worth the extra price of a few dollars... and again... fun.

Pros: + It is a good weight, exactly 100.00 grams
+ Very good for calibration
+ Has 100g on his top
+ Shiny
+ It also can be used in old style laboratory scales

Cons: -Nothing , really, but it has a hole in bottom...

Other: For the Price: $3.99 it is a good thing to buy. Recommend to buy 2 of those! :)

Pros: I've had this lil gadget for months now to calibrate my friend and I's scales (bought them from DX as well, http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.15002) It weighs exactly what it should. Definitely a must have if you want to weigh accurately with your scale. You always want to keep it calibrated.

Cons: Like I've said I've owned it for months. It works and there are no con's.

Other: Buy this if you want to keep your scale accurate. I'm happy with my purchase and will probably have to buy another in the near future for my friend.

Pros: It really weights nearly 100g; Scales could be calibrated or verified at any time; Compact and looks nice; Solid construction.

Cons: Can't think of any.

Other: You'll have to buy them sometime if you are buying digital scales. You may not do it simultaneously, because in my case I haven't need them for about a year, but sometime they will come handy to calibrate your little unhealthy weighing friend.

Pros: -Looks nice, chromed
-Have a small border to lift it with tweezers, so one dont add the weight of its finger prints.
-The weight is stamped with a "100g" mark, so it doesn't get mixed with other weights.
-The precision of the weight is around 100.00±0.02g
(I bought 3 weights that I measured with a 0.0001g resolution scale)

Looks like the weight of ones finger prints could probably get the weight on the 100g mark.

Cons: -A little pricy ... I gess one have to pay for the 100g shiping cost

Other: A good calibration weight for any scale that as a ±0.1g resolution!
