    Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

    Pros: - Allows easy, universal USB device sharing for multiple systems
    - Hardware button switching, and also by software (Switching software is Windows only, but the device itself + hardware buttons work well without it)

    Cons: - Sometimes the switch is "laggy", not happening instantly and might even need multiple presses (usually it is almost instant though)
    - Could have an integrated USB hub for multiple ports, though a regular USB hub works well with it too
    - Doesn't come with any cables

    Other: Useful device for easy USB device sharing
