Digital Utility AC Power Consumption Monitor and Timer (AC 220V 10A)

Pros: Quite simply, this gadget lets you accurately measure how much electricity different appliances around your home consume. It is quite accurate at that.
These devices cost more than three times as much in Germany (Conrad).

Cons: I can't read Chinese, and this device was made for the Chinese market. Most of the characters on the LCD are in Chinese, too, so it's hard to know what the mean.
The plug is also Chinese, so you will need one of those universal adapters that DX carries to plug it into the wall.

Other: Great gadget if you want to measure how much power your devices really devour (it can be quite an elucidating experience, trust me). The device is more then usable even with its kWh counting mode, but it would a thousand-fold cooler if a basic English instruction sheet were included with the other data.

Pros: Allows to measure power consumption of any device pluggable into electric outlet. Based on that you can plan updates for a more power efficient device. It is possible to know the time measurement has been in progress, the current power being consumed, total amount of energy consumed, energy per hour, per day, per month

Cons: The plug is not the standard one - my world power adaptor had no compatible socket for it. No instruction in English. Smallest power reading is 0.01 kW, which transforms into 10W and there is no possibility to change the scale into the more detailed one. The energy consumed per hour, per month is calculated only after full period time (after a hour, day, month has ended).

Other: Avoid, because it is not cheap, most likely doesn't fit your socket, you will spend lot's of time figuring how it works (unless you know Chinese), and power reading will be very rough, especially for low power devices - computers, clocks, CFL table lamps, etc.

Pros: Yep, it's measures power usage. :)

Cons: There is a china plug while I have europlugs around (but see thoughts)
Energy consumption per hour / day / month is calculated only after the relevant period
Chinese labels on buttons and display (but englich manual makes things simpler :)

Other: It's cheap and it's works. If you want to know some devise(s) real power usage - buy it.

Pros: Superb device, I found it very accurate and easy to use,I thought it will be harder to use since there is no English next to the buttons (there is an English display titles on the screen) but it was very clear the minute I got it. By the way I got a Manual written in English with it :) this device rocks, really teaches you a lot about power consumption and how to save money.

Cons: It's build quality isn't at the highest level,that was expected by the price.

Other: Superb device,very good for saving money and learning about power consumption.

Pros: This cheap device allows you to know how much energy spends/consumes your electrical equipment/home appliances. You can view both momentary value of Watts are being consumed and some integrated values (within day, month, etc)

Cons: Unforunately, there's no English manual included, and all of characters are in Chineese. Power plug is also unusual, but there's no problem to find on the marked, attach and use universal adapter. By the way, DX offers many of such devices.

Other: It's very cheap and useful. If you afraid of some negative reviews, you should know that there are only two basic operations: memory reset and switch between displayed data. It's not difficult to find in Internet manual in spanish and translate it to English (or your native language) using Google translate. Or just try and guess how to do basic operations. Once you try, you will know that it is NOT difficult to use this device.

Pros: Very good product. It helped me saving energy and understanding de power consumption of each device i use.
Now i can save 16 Euro every 2 months by saving energy.
I reccomend this product. It is very accurate. It has an english manual and it is very easy to operate.
This product deserves all the stars.

Cons: It cames with a plug that I dont have in my house but it is not difficult to mod it.

Other: This is the first review for me after 4 years buying on dealextreme.

Pros: It totally delivers what it promises, it measures power in real time and more, I live in Brazil in a 220v part of the country and it reads power consumption correctly, I measured things like a 15w light bulb and the result was consistent, even tough it's all in Chinese it is easy to use.

Cons: the manual and all the written characters are in Chinese only, the power plug is also for China use, it would be nice to have a higher precision, I mean readings bellow 1w.

Other: it's very useful to learn how to dimension properly a computer and it's power supply, also where is going the power that you pay on your bills!

Pros: The productor come with power socket that can accept most type of power plug whihc is good. The instantaneous power reading is accurate. The usage over 1 hour, 1 day are also accurate. I have not tested the usage over a month.

Cons: The manual is very poorly done. I read Chinese, but the Chinese manual is poorly done and very confusing. The timer function does not seem to work. It is counting but not at the same rate as a clock, hence not sure what is teh meaning of teh reading.
