Digital Weighting Hook Scale with Neck Strap (40kg Max / 10g Resolution)

Pros: - Compact - considerably smaller than other units I've seen, which makes it easy to carry on a trip with you.
- Light
- Easy to use - simple and easy to understand command buttons
- Hook (instead of the usual strap or buckle) makes weighing multiple items a breeze.
- The hook can be stored into the unit so it doesn't get in the way in transport or storage.
- Tare can be set so you can weight the actual content of your luggage if you want.
- Standard AAA batteries (included)

Cons: The battery compartment does not lock in place very firmly so it can fall off. I'm sure this is fixable, but haven't bothered because I don't use it every day.

Other: If you fly long distance and/or more than once a year you owe yourself one of these. It will pay for itself multi-fold by helping you avoid overweight charges.

Pros: Very small hanging scale, smaller than similar scales I have owned in the past.
Reasonable accuracy.
Batteries supplied with unit in retail packaging.
Loop on top is good for holding or hanging the scale on a post/beam etc. Others I have owned have a moulded handle with makes it difficult to mount the scale on something and use it without having to hold you 40kg bag or fish or whatever in the air at the same time.

Cons: Very small design seems like it couldn't possibly hold 40kg without something breaking. Mine has been fine so far but I'm using it mainly to weigh bicycles that are 15kg or less.

Other: Good value, does what it should. Small design might be a bit weak if regularly weighing 40kg luggage etc but this is only a guess as I haven't tried it myself. For the price I think its worth a chance.

Other: If you flight at least once every year this is a must. Airlines are changing the rules all the time, and you can be always prepared.

Pros: I tested these scales
reference kg on the scales of 1,00 - 1,02
2kg = 2,02-2,04 on screen
4,5 kg = 4,54-4,56.
Then I weighed my son - 33,64
scales on the floor showed 34kg.
I think the accuracy of the weights is very good for home use

Cons: rear cover is not very well attached to the body
Power button is not sunk to the body, which can lead to spontaneous power on device

Other: I am pleased with the purchase and bought the same scale to my parents and parents of my wife

Pros: It's a GOOD scale. It was reading the same as my calibrated scale. And it's quite accurate. Can be set to lbs or kg. It does NOT have a "lock-in" feature. Which, for me, is good- I need to measure variable tension and that lock-in of other scales was a major PITA problem. This one will of course power down after a few min so it can't be a continuous-status scale, but... whatever. The CASE is flimsy. It's polystyrene and will probably crack if dropped from a height. I don't think it's anything but the outer case though, the load cell seems solidly attached to the pull handle internally.

Cons: The CASE being flimsy... but, like I say, the internals There's no swivel on the hook. I wish there was one, I need one for my purposes, but it'd probably be made less sturdy if there was one. It's pretty sturdy as it is. The hook might bend if you went all the way to 40kg.

Other: Good scale, high capacity, accurate, and GREAT price.

Pros: 1. Compact dimensions and light weight. 2. Great accuracy for such a small device. 3. I pondered on these scale things weights up to 30kg. Scale is not collapsed, it's enough for home use 4. Power suply on common two AAA batteries

Cons: Too small a hook - not all things on it is convenient to hang Very little upper a cloth loop. For it is inconvenient to keep things that weigh more than 20kg

Other: Excellent purchase. These scales come in handy for travelers to weigh the luggage I have been climbing and I'm very useful device for weighing products and equipment

Pros: - surprisingly accurate - works - color is light blue (could be worse, could be pink..) - it's a scale, there's not much more to say

Cons: - could be a little more ergonomic to hold - it's still a scale, so there's still not that much more to say...

Other: Even if it's lost into the briny deep (ok, I mostly fish at freshwater lakes), it won't bankrupt you. For the price, you can't go wrong.

Cons: The "hook holder" (a slot with plastic retainers for the metal hook) on the back is not as strong as I'd like. But it's a nice feature anyways...

Pros: - it works and it is accurate;
- came with batteries;
- supports various units, readings can be freezed;
- can be used as thermometer, just press "unit" for 2 sec;
- sturdy built, looks like it really can measure up to 20..40kg.

Cons: - my cat does not want to hang on the hook and be weighted. :(

Other: definitely it was a great buy, good scale for little money.

Pros: Shows the same weight that calibrated scales,(a 5 litre bottle of water shows 5.10 kg, a pack of rice which weight 800 gr shows on the screen 0.81 kg. So the results are very authentic.

Cons: As for me it is heavy to keep things that weigh more than 20kg.

Other: Very good for home use.I am pleased with the purchase and would like to buy same scale to my parents (using on summer cottage)
