  • Great game controller for a home gaming project

    Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

    Pros: This is a solid unit that worked as expected. I plugged it in and it was recognized and worked right away. I am using this with an emulator and was able to easily map the keys and get playing right away. Buttons are all the same colour, but are changeable.

    Cons: Although it was working well, for my project I needed to take it apart for a small case modification. Some of the connections were quite loose and rougher use might have seen them let go. The buttons don't click like an arcade machine should do, but it is not a huge draw back. Cover over joystick hole is logical, but not good.

    Other: Could get a cheaper one, but do not see the point of the more expensive ones. The parts are all interchangeable between them, so this does what you would need if you are in the market for one.
