Dingoo A-320 2.8" LCD GBA/NGO/SNES/ NES/SFC/CPS1/2/+ Emulator Game Console (4GB Built-in + Mini-SD)

Pros: -Good price
-Plays practically all video formats
-Very impressive build quality. The screen is much brighter and clearer than it appears in videos
-Suprisingly good sound quality and volume from built-in speakers, I would say slightly above DSi quality
-Great quality through headphones(my own, not the ones it came with, those ones aren't terrible but they're nothing special)
-Buttons have a very nice feel to them
-Default menu language was english!
-Includes USB to wall adapter
-Comes charged, showed 2 bars out of 3
-Preloaded "Interesting Games" are pretty good
-GBA and NES run great (SNES when using the overclock app)
-Teamdingoo's custom firmware allows custom themes which are nice
-TV out cables!
-Built in radio!

Cons: -Loading picture menu takes a while, a page of thumbnails took about 30 seconds
-To load stuff off of the memory card you have to navigate a bit more
-Needs emulator updates, not all are optimized well enough for its CPU
-TV out seems to stay at 320 x 240 resolution
-Comes from sketchy Chinese company

Other: In my opinion, this is much mroe worth it than an ipod nano or similar brand name mp4 players. You pay less and get more. Bigger screen, expandable memory, massive library of games, avi playback, radio... etc. Buy this and you will not be disappointed.

Pros: - Plays videos without needing to convert.
- TV out.
- Play SNES, NES, GBA, and many more.
- LINUX SUPPORT! (Dingux) to use (theoretically) infinite number of apps, games, and emulators.
- Plays MP3's (probably other formats too) and radio with preset station memory.
- Long battery life
- SDHC support (haven't tested >8gb)

Cons: - Y+B buttons cannot be used simultaneously (software problem, fixed by using an emulator in dingux)
- Some SNES games can slow down a bit in emulation (again, fixed in dingux)

Other: - If you need a music/video player and ROM support, get this. You will not be disappointed.
Now that there is open linux support, ultimately any game with a linux emulator could be made to run on the dingoo!

Pros: (I will write this review in English and French, so that french people understand better) - Most important is that you can have thousands of games in your pocket - Good quality, comes with an installed screen protection - Easy to use - Good MP3 player - Good Video player -Cette petite console est géniale, on peut avoir des milliers de jeux dans sa poche, et certains sont vraiment biens - Elle est petite, bien construite, arrive avec une protection d'écran, lit les mp3 et les divx, et a une bonne autonomie (8 à 20h selon l'usage)

Cons: - Screen too small for the movies - écran petit pour les videos (mais parfait pour les jeux)

Other: Buy it, You'll never regret! Indispensable pour toute personne passant pas mal de temps dans les transports à mon avis!

Pros: -great price -sturdy build quality, face buttons can take a beating and feel good -huge community of developers and support for native os and emulators -good battery life lasts several hours using moderate settings -lots of room for expanding storage via mini SD slot -plays most games for the emulators listed -the 3D games that come pre-loaded are pretty enjoyable too -Dingux!!!

Cons: -a little too compact for man sized hands -unfortunate placement of L & R shoulder buttons further adds to discomfort -as stated elsewhere, d-pad isn't the greatest for fighting games and requires a mod to truly enjoy them -not all roms supported in native emulators -usb cable doa -shipping took a little longer than i hoped but this is DX after all ;)

Other: I love this hand-held - it's become my new favorite toy :) I had a few troubles getting it to communicate with my xp pc but that was due to a dead usb cable (luckily i had another from an hp digital camera that worked perfectly with it) It's a pretty good value for what you get 'out of the box', the real joys start when you install linux (dingux) on it to really open up it's capabilities - once dingux is running the emulation on it for snes and genesis really improves the playability over the native emulators - the support for this os is huge, a google search for dingux is all you need in order to find the answers you're looking for - if you love emulated games like i do, you'll love the Dingoo. It's amazing. Buy it.

Pros: -Stereo speakers -Great video playing with different codecs -High quality lcd screen -Linux support (Dingux) -Great support on official and unofficial sites

Cons: -Big "Made in China" brand behind it. (It is big because it is a product that China can be proud of.) -Some punctuation mistakes at menu that can be corrected using custom firmware. -You have to convert Neogeo and Cps games using its converter, but some games are incompatible. -Doesn't support subtitles - yet.

Other: You would never say "I wish .."

Pros: Es un excelente emulador. - Destacable la capacidad de emular GBA a la perfección. Los otros sistemas corren de muy buen modo. Es notable jugar los King of Figther. - Además, su capacidad multimedia es sobresaliente, reproduce practicamente cualquier formato. - La batería dura fácil más de 5 horas. - La radio no necesita antenas externas, muy bien. - Su precio es lo mejor. - Compacta y muy precisa. - Se puede instalar Dingux y se solucionan casi todos los detallitos.

Cons: - El emulador de SNES no corre bien los juegos. Lo mismo ocurre con el emulador de CPS2, aunque en menor medida. - No lee pdfs de modo nativo. - La combinación de botones "y" + "b" no funciona. Esto es escencial para juegos cómo Mario, Donkey Kong, Megaman, etc. Pero ojo que eso se soluciona al instalar Dingux, lo mismo, con Dingux el emulador de SNES corre al 100%. - Los audífonos que trae son malos.

Other: Es un excelente producto, pues cubre todas las necesidades de reproductor multimedia, y además es un emulador portátil de excelentes prestaciones. Además es completamente actualizable, y la capacidad de correr Dingux le da más poder todavía (puesto que permite overclock sobre el procesador). 100% recomendado.

Pros: The native emulators are greatly surprising! Most of the GBA Nes Snes and Sega roms i've tried worked perfectly. Only some game did not work (games with special chips (starfox,super mario kart and virtua racing)do not start and also the sonic games have little glitches) but all my favorite ones;Top Gear 2,Super Punch-out Gunstar Heroes and Donkey Kong Contry 2 and others are fully playable. Cps1,2 and NeoGeo runs great too. You can also download others emulators like PcEngine Colecovision or GameGear. But the best is that you can install linux to use even better emulators and programms (Playstation Emulation!FF7!) The music reader is really complete with more options than any mp3 player.Video playing is great too. Most of the video files are compatible and the one that are not just need to be converted to work. The screen quality is amazing and it is large enougth to watch a movie or play games from a reasonnable distance. And Tv-Out is perfect too; there is no quality lost even on a 32" TV and there is also choice for Pal,Ntsc and 4/3,16/9.

Cons: The Earphone jack is on the side of the dingoo so it can be slighly annoying when playin games with earphones on. The problem can be solved by using earphones with a curved jack.

Other: You can now bring all your music, movies and game collection in your pocket wherever you go. I repeat:RETRO GAMER DREAM'S!

Pros: - Great out-of-the-box emulators.
- Supports almost every video and audio format.
- Comes with a TV-Out cable.
- Good quality screen.
- Linux support and a still growing community.
- Long battery life.
- Expandable Memory.

Cons: - Obviously, the Y+B buttons bug. (Not a hardware bug though)
- Screen edges kinda gets blurry when I push Select or D-Buttons.
- The cables could be a little longer.
- And why in the hell MINI SD?

Other: There is just no reason to not to buy this little gem.

Pros: This is I think one of the best products I've bought here, and trust me I spent quite a buck here.
The controls are really good. The buttons feel nice and it plays a LOT of games.
The sound quality, when using proper headphones/speakers is awesome too. Better than expected!
I've been playing Pokemon a LOT and traveling by train/bus whatever all of a suddent seemed like minutes instead of the hours I daily travel.
Video playback is good too, just keep the bitrate a bit low.

Cons: None.

Other: Like old games and want a nice LIGHT portable player? GET IT. Simple as that!
