Diving Cree SSC-P7-C-SXO 3-Mode 900-Lumen LED Flashlight Kit (2*18650/4*CR123A/4*16340)

Pros: I bought this lamp some weeks after i bought the CREE MC-E version. The only difference seems to be the LED, the rest is exacthy the same. The light output is almost identical to the CREE 650 lumen version, but the P7 has a warmer colour output. The beam angle is very good for diving.

Cons: - Not more light output than the MC-E 650 lumen version. - The glass seems very thin according to other "typical" diving lights, but tested at 25m and OK.

Other: Really worth the money! Buy this one with a backup lamp like SKU 20762.

Pros: This light is surprisingly sturdy and feel well build. On high, the included batteries last for about 1h 50-55min. I haven't taken in diving yet so I can't comment on that. It is very bright. I doubt it's 900 lm, that is more than P7 c-bin specs but it likely puts out 500+.The beam is what you would expect from a P7- quite floody but hey who needs 200 yard narrow beam for diving. I haven't tried any other batteries but the included ones. So far so good.

Cons: Nothing so far. I hope the quality hold up under water.

Other: Good and cheap P7 diving light. No much competition in this price range and these specs.

Pros: just got this in the mail, and it went through customs due to sku.1888. i just installed the batteries and turned it on, and bright light!! i have an princeton tec and that was just put to ahame EVEN at 20 % from the ssc- and thats all i want, a bright BEAM with a SPOT, and it looks like i have it.. cant wait to get into the water and test it out, i will just to make sure, put vaseline on the o-rings in the end, the other ends are tighten hard- maybe glue, but i dont see my self taking it apart so thats fine.. its a tiny hole for a loopcord on the back, and hook it up to a carabinhook and its secured.. im planning of putting rubberbands on it and have it attached on my arm, that way my hands will be free while diving.. now im sure my diving buddy with his HID WILL spot me and see me.!

Cons: hmmm... i dont know any... ill guess if u use common sense it should be fine.. do NOT stare in the light, its BRIGHT, i did, i just have some urge to look straightly into lights, and its kinda hurting now... so- GO AHEAD AND BUY IT!!!!

Other: BUY IT!!!!!

Pros: Very nice lamp, lots of light when you need it (Hi) and more than enough in medium or low in order to safe energy. I bought it as a backup lamp but are now using it as my primary.

Cons: flat pole plug, in Europe you will nee a converter to a round plug, but hey most divers have travel converters so no big deal. A very small hole to attach a lanyard.

Other: Like I said, this is my first choice for a diving lamp. I ordered one extra as a backup since it is small and does not weigh much.

Pros: I have made 10 dives with the flashlight since I recived it 4 weeks ago. I think its a bargin for the price, durabilty and strong light.

Cons: Some negative things, to small hole in the back for a strap. Easily fixed but should be made by the manufacture, The magnetic switch is to easy to accidently turn on the lamp in a bag or so. Not funny to come to the dive sight and discover the batterys is empty. A bit of tape fix this but should be by the manufacture, I think that the batterys that come with the lamp isnt the best in the market, so to buy some better extra battery from this site, same time as the lamp could be a vice thing.

Other: Its not much more to say then buy if you need a dive light.

Pros: First of all I want to say that this divelight puts out a nice amount of light for diving.... BUT.. several people I have spoken with is complaining that the outher bezel ring to often gets to loose while diving and the light starts to leak!
This shouldn't have been a issue at all for this light. So to all of you who buy this light..allway check the bezel-ring while diving...alway.. trust me..mine drovned yesterday because of it..

Cons: Great divelight, but the bezel-ring have a leakage problem...

Other: Great divelight, but the manufacturer chould fix the bezel-ring problem ASAP.. before the rumers prevents people from buying the light...

Pros: Well build, complete delivery including charger and batteries, just change the plug to european standard, works fine. Nice

Cons: By far no 900 Lumens. My Fenix TK40 (rated 640 Lumens, same Emitter) is much brighter.

Other: Complete package including everything makes this one a fine deal. Its not a "Hartenberger" but a well build spare light for your scuba fun.

Pros: I've made about 5 dives to 20 msw with this torch and didn't have any problems. Output is incredible; it tops most LEDs out there and even compares well vs 50W HIDs costing 10x as much. Everything is in the box: comes with its own charger, 2 x 18650 batteries & spare o-rings.

Cons: Hole for the lanyard at the back is way too small. It can switch on when in your bag because the magnetic ring doesn't have a clickie to hold it in position.

Other: You will be hard pressed to find a better diving flash light for this price. I bought two because they are that good value.

Pros: The light came with fully charged batteries and werked very well. It is a very bright LED.

Cons: 18650 batteries are not charging. I had a dive trip planned last week so I put both batteries in the supplied charger. after about two hours when I checked the charger the LED went from RED to GREEN so I put the batteries back in the light but it would not come on. I put the batteries back in the charger and now the LED does not come on (Not red and not green) No change like there isn't a battery in the charger.

Other: I need help or replacement. I bought a second set of batteries (surefire 3000ms protected) one battery charges on either side of the charger but the other surefire does not and neither of the blue supplied batteries charges. There are no markings on the supplied blue 18650 batteries.

Pros: I've just spent a dive week with this flash light. Depth for these dives was from 25m (82ft) to 42m(137ft). No problem no leaking and a bright light in wreck !! My buddies were impressed of the power of this diving light A must have for the price

Cons: Rear hole a little small for a lanyard. You must get off the baterries quite everyday to charge it

Other: A good balance of functionnalities/power and price Great divelight
