DIY 3x3x3 Brain Teaser Magic IQ Cube Complete Kit (Black)

Pros: I could swear, this is like rubik! good plastic quaklity, nice and thick. All pieces work exacly like an original rubik. color is pitch black, all on DIY, even corner top are not glued! make it easyer to fill with resin for costum cubes.

Cons: Stickers are crappy and ugly, but still in venyl i think. center core is good but we can see sharp edges.

Other: This is exacly like a DIY rubik brand, I was astonished to see the quality. Buy it!

Pros: As somebody mentioned before, this is like original. It hasn't got the logo in the middle of the white side, but who cares? Turs a little bit harder, but not bad at all, you can learn how to play with it easily. Nice colours btw.

Cons: You have to build it for yourself, it cames in pieces. Block colour pieces are pre-cutted, so all you have to do is put up the stickers, oh and make sure to have a screwdriver. No cons at all.

Pros: I got this cube and assembled it straight away. First thing i noticed is that it was very smooth even without lubrication. I myself am a speedcuber and this has to be one of the smoothest cubes ive used in a while. It doesnt lock up and it has excellent tollerance. Very pleased with this. It comes with 2 sets of good quality stickers.

Cons: The first cube i recieved had no core but DX sorted that out for me =] Thank you.
Theres the occasional popping here and there but only when i try and go faster than I should.

Other: Excellent, smooth fast cube. Well worth the money.

Pros: The puzzle is very inexpensive because of the free shipping. It is an excellent DIY cube. It's a Type C, which is basically the same as the DIY kits sold on the original brand's website. The puzzle turns very nicely, and is durable. If you adjust it right, it won't pop. The center caps also stay on, unlike the original brand DIY kits, so that's nice. The cube turns smoothly, and responds well to silicone lubricant. It also came with two sets of stickers in case you need to replace any, or you can just sticker another cube.

Cons: The center caps are a bit difficult to put on. If you aren't strong enough to force them in, you can just use a hammer and smack them on -- it works quite well. The stickers are a bit duller than the original brand stickers, but you can get used to it. Or you can just buy new stickers.

Other: It's a great DIY cube, and I've used it in competition. For it's price, it's well worth it, especially because of free shipping.

Pros: Excellent Build Quality. Be careful of cheaper cubes here on DX...I bought a cheapy and it broke within 10 turns!! This one is great. Make sure to build it correctly and make the correct opposing colors like the original (The picture is wrong... Blue opposes green, white opposes yellow, and red opposes orange). This is important for sanity (similar colors don't show on tiles of the same piece... and for learning as you want color scheme that matches the original Rubik's).

Cons: No instructions at all... But not too hard, just make sure to get colors right so it matches original Rubiks

Other: Just as good as (if not better than) the original rubiks cube. Do it yourself kit takes about 30 minutes to put together if you take your time to line up the stickers cleanly/squarely. Extra stickers is a nice bonus as they will get torn up over time.

Pros: It is NOT the original cube, as some people implied. I had one that sounded much different.
With this note, it is something that I liked and as you assemble it, you can adjust the tention on the springs. It will set how tight it will be.

Cons: No instructions on how to assemble it. Yes - it is important as there are some spacers that you need to put in certain order. It will work anyways, but the sound and the feel will be different.

Other: Buy this one. When you become GOOD, buy another one that you can try in your hands first.

Pros: Easy to build. There are many videos on www.youtube.com that teach how to mount it.

Cons: I think it is too small, and too light.
It does not rotates too well.
Parts do not fit perfectly.
Could be cheaper.

Other: I was expecting a product with better quality build. I must say I was a bit disappointed. Still, it's a good product.

Pros: This is a very good cube. I bought six of these and they are all great.
- Fast turning.
- Reacts well to lubricant.
- 2 sets of decent quality stickers.
- Very cheap, but good quality.
- A type C DIY.
- Very smooth
- Doesn't pop at all if set to the correct tension. Just work at it.
- Barely locks up.
- Good quality pieces.

Cons: There are only a few cons that I can think of for this product. The yellow, green, and orange stickers are quite dull, and may be a bit annoying to speed-cube with. Also, once the center caps are in, it's a bit hard to get them out.

Other: It is so worth the money. GREAT speedcube.

Pros: -Cheap price!
-Great build quality, on par with the original. Stickers haven't fallen off, cube turns nicely
-Comes with extra set of stickers, and an alternative yellow colour
-Can be lubricated, just like the original.

Cons: -Didn't come with instructions, so i had to find a tutorial on youtube.
-Comes in plain plastic bags, no packaging or anything.

Other: Buy this instead of the original DIY kits.

Pros: It's a DIY cube. It's cheap. stickers are vinyl and won't turn white with wear. Like all diycubes it has adjustable spring tension.

Cons: Cuts corners horribly. Mine jams frequently even after being lubed and sanded. stickers are extremely thin and after being pasted on the black cube look very dull because the black is so visible through the stickers.

Other: Buy it if you want a cheap diycube.
