Dock Extender Data/Charging Cable for All iPod/iPhone 2G/3G/3GS - Black (80CM)

Pros: Extends your iPhone/iPod cable
Good build quality
Works as expected on both iPhone 3G and 3GS
Good length cable and also nice and thick cable so seems it will last

Cons: Would be nice if the plug had a texture or indication which side is up as not always easy to see which side you need to plug into the device. This is only an issue as I use it primarily in the car where the light is generally low (see below)

Other: Cheap way to extend the reach of your iPod/iPhone cables.
Plug and socket both of good quality

Pros: -Works for everthing.
-Changing, synchronize, audio to extend the car connection.
-The quality of the cable is excellent.
-The male connector locks when connected into the ipod/iphone. So you can just disconnect by pressind the side buttons.

Other: Good to extend any connection for your ipod/iphone. (maybe ipads too)
I recommend buying this! It does what it's supposed to do.

Pros: It extends any iPhone/iPad/iPod accessory without trouble.
Build quality seems good. I am not worried about this cable breaking or going bad anytime soon.
Solid, rugged connection to the dock connector on my iPhone.

Cons: Not long enough! I would love to see DX sell one of these about twice the length of this one.
Price is OK, but could always be better!

Other: Buy one or two if you have a need to extend an iAccessory. Don't buy it if you have no such need or desire. This cable only performs one function, but that one function it performs very well.

Pros: The cable works for charging purposes. I intended to use this to connect a snap-in rechargeable battery charger. And it does the job fine

Cons: the cable is quite thick, but I guess this is because it has all the wires needed to make this cable work 100% for all functions of the iPhone connector (charge, sync, A/V, etc.) The male end that connects to the phone is a tight fit. Extra care should be taken not to push and force the cable into the phone connector or you risk chipping off the connector support of your phone. It takes a couple of connect/disconnect before the contacts have finally been "broken-in"

Other: It's a USB cable extension and it does what it's suppose to do. I have tested charging the iPhone, and it works flawlessly for both iPhone 3G and iPhone 4

Pros: Exactly as advertised. One side fits perfectly into my clock radio iPod dock, the other into the iPod Touch. Charges, plays audio, the whole nine yards, and I don't have to take my iPod out of its case. I love it.

Cons: More than a month delivery time from when I ordered it. But that is normal from DealExtreme. I've bought several things here and waited weeks and weeks every time. (I'm in Atlanta) But it's hard to complain when the shipping is free. I can live with it.

Other: Recommended.

Pros: this is the real deal. i've bought elsewhere where the shop claims it will support data too, only to be disappointed.
great for hooking up your iPad to your docking music station built for iphone/ipod but not iPad.

Other: buy this if your music docking station cannot house your iPad. great build ... just be sure to pinch the connectors on the sides and not just pull them out the way you would with an ORIGINAL APPLE connector

- The Connectors Look Cheap A Bit (Not Comparable To Apple Cables In Quality).
- Tricky To Use It With External Battery In Small Places Like Bags Because It Is Not Bend Enough To Use It In Such Places)

Other: Very Usable Acessories If You Have An iDevice With An External Battery Or If You Have A Dock.

Pros: Just plug and play as an extender. No issues with it at all. Can transfer data and also use as a power cord.

Cons: The product came with a plastic covering only on one side, and the other side was quite scratched. Made me think that it might have been a used or returned piece. Also, the female end is very large and thick, so I had some difficulties using it in one of my docks as an extender due to the thickness.

Other: Good if you need an extension. Just watch that your dock has space to take a thick female end.

Pros: Good build quality, supports USB transfer, analog video output, charging.

Cons: Does not support HDMI video output. Tried it with http://dx.com/p/hdmi-usb-av-adapter-set-for-ipad-ipod-touch-iphone-4-4s-white-119246

Other: Buy it if you don't need HDMI output.

Pros: very nice thick cable and easy to use. just plug in and go. does what it needs to do and you can sinc your apple device with it... you dont notice any differends except your cable is now 80 cm longer (thats a good thing)

Cons: does'nt fit in all external cases like a battery case... so cant use the cable before taking of the case becuase the cable is a little bit thicker than the original apple charging cable

Other: i think this is a very very nice product and it has got a very good price for what you'll get.
