Dock Extender Data/Charging Cable for All iPod/iPhone 2G/3G/3GS - White (80CM)

Pros: If you just are gonne use it to charge, or sync, your iPhone/iPod/iPad, then it's perfect. But it does not work with other things.

Cons: Does only support syncing and charging. I was gonne use this with my iPad, to connect it to my tv with an a/v cable. This does not work. Becouse that didn't work, i tried to use it with my fm-transmitter. That didn't work either. So my conclusion is that it only support syncing, and charging

Pros: Works as advertised. Used it only to charge iphone overnight so can't comment on data transfer.

Cons: The cable seems to be unnecessary thick having the old style push button on the side to release the ipod/iphone is a bit of a hassle, prefer the newer style that simply unplugs.

Other: It's OK but I haven't tested it for data transfer.

Pros: Works perfect with ipad/iphone/ipod touch, and it does work with the tomtom carkit. Now i can connect my tomtom carkit to my ipad wifi only so i can use gps and the tomtom app.
Tested it on iphone 2g, iphone 4 and ipad 1

Cons: The plastic looks and feel cheap.
Cable feels to thick and feels kinda stiff.
But for the price its fine

Other: Pretty cheap for a extender cable.

So if you are looking for extending something, like a dock connector or a tomtom carkit you can use this perfectly.

Other: This cable is exactly what I was looking for... I didn't want to buy a new dock just for my iPad2 so I was looking for an extender cable. I ordered a different cable first that cost $10 dollars. I figured it was most expensive it must have all the pins... NOPE it only had 4 pins in the connector. After reading some of the reviews here, I decided to give this one a shot. First thing looked at when I got the cable was the connector. This cable at least has all the pins installed, which is a good sign. I cant guarantee all the lines are passed, but it seem a lot of them are.

Pros: This was just what I needed and worked the way I wanted. A while back, I purchased an otterbox case for my iPod touch, but didn't know how small the dock connector opening was. I needed an extension cable so I could plug in and dock my iPod without taking off the case. This seemed to be my best bet. When I recieved the cable, I was a bit dissapointed it didnt fit in to the case opening, BUT I decided to just file it down. Afterwards it worked perfectly. When I plugged my iPod in to the video out cable, the video and sound played perfectly. Then I plugged in my iPod through this cable to my speaker dock (since the iPod case was too big to fit in between the speakers) and sound played through it. I was really satisfied when the dock buttons and the REMOTE control worked too.

Cons: -The cable turned out great, but i had to make some minor alterations first. -The connector box fits kind of loosely with the cable and creates a little noise.

Other: If you were in a situation like me, and needed the full pins and output, i would HIGHLY recommend this cable. For single output cables just for extension on that one feature (like syncing) you may want to seek for a cheaper one.

Pros: Works great for extending the 30-pin connector to other accessories, such as Docks. Also, it transfers audio, which some other cables do not! Great buy!
Works for the iPhone 4, iPod Touch (2nd Gen) - and also works for the iPad 2!!! Works amazingly well actually.
Has a nice squeeze clip for secure attachment.

Cons: The wire is a bit thicker than most CABLES for iDevices, but honestly, it's not an issue what so ever.

Pros: Wanted a cable that could connect my alarm clock dock to my ipod touch while it was in a bulky case. This worked like a charm!
-Great for iPod docks that your iPod is too big for.
-Charges and passes audio/music controls no problem.
-Build quality is good for the price.
-MUCH cheaper here at DealExtreme than any other extender cable I've seen that passes audio and controls.
-Securely connects into your iPod.

Cons: -The female end seems less sturdy than the male end.
-It has the "pinch to remove" design.

Other: If you have any iPod dock, you are doing yourself a disservice not buying this. It is so nice to be able to check something on my iPod, and set it back down on my nightstand without having to fumble with the dock for 30 seconds until it goes in, risking breaking the dock in the process.

Pros: Bought this to extend the distance between my dock and wall charger. Does its job well and powers and syncs my iPhone like any other cable should.

Cons: If you can figure out how you want your items wired you're better off getting a USB extension cable instead of this for the weight, cost and ease of use. The 30-pin connectors on this cable don't fit well and it feels like you're damaging something when you plug either end into another cable or your iDevice.

Other: Good purchase for people who need this over a USB extension cable.

Pros: It’s a great product and very usefulness. Ideal for my apple ipad2. It’s a good buy and recommend your use. is all that I had thought, I like a lot! Enables extener the scope of my ipad2 in several inches because the cable that comes with the product is too short. in my point of view the price is quite suitable for this type of product.
