Dock Extender Male/Female Cable for All iPod/iPhone 2G/3G (45CM)

Pros: Works as advertised to extend the dock connector. Works with iPhone 3GS by for extending a USB dock cable to allow for charge and data sync.

Cons: I have a car kit which has a legacy apple dock connector which plays music but does not charge. I then purchased the Scorche passport to convert the signal allow for charging and music to my car stereo at the same time. However the Scorche adapter is quite bulky so i have to take my iphone case off to use it. I purchased this dock extender hoping it would 'extend' the scorche adapter signal to allow both music and charge to through. When connected, it still charges, but oddly music doesn't work! So it doesn't serve the purpose i was expecting so now the cable's pretty useless to me. The female connector doesn't connect very well to standard male 'apple dock' connectors. Requires some fiddling around.

Other: Great to use as a charge / data connector, but doesn't seem to work with music!?!

Pros: nothings . it looks fine, but it is usefull for ipod touch or iphone. it only works for charge, not for music

Cons: it doesn't work with my iphone 3G. i conect it to my ihome ip9 but it doesnt charge or play the music. i conect it to me ipod video 5G 30gbs and the same, it dosent work with music. but whit this it charge almost. i conect it to the iphone's apple original cable, as a "extender" to the pc, and it charges my iphone but not sync.

Pros: It works perfectly on the computer. Charge and sync correctly both the Ipod and the Iphone 4.
It has a perfect finish, the materials seem high quality, so you will not have to buy another because of their destruction.
Has a length of one meter, so it performs its function correctly.
In the article says it has a length of 45 cm, but in reality, has a length of one meter. As we gain more centimeters. I think this is because it is 45 inches.

Cons: I've only found one problem and even so, I think it isn't the fault of the product. I had made the purchase for use in the car and the car does not work. Do not bind the radio-CD with the ipod. The car is a Volkswagen.

- very easy to use
- Plug and play
- an interesting detail that I really like is the same icon in the cable to the cable iphone
- feels authentic

Cons: - took a month to arrive
- there's nothing else wrong with it ..

Other: if you need an extension to connect or charge your iPhone is a good solution.
in my case I use it as an extension to connect the dock of the apple.

Pros: I bought this as a extension for a battery pack for my iphone 4.
This does what it says, and works great.

Cons: Doesn't fit when you have a bumper on the iphone 4.
After two weeks I opened it, and modified it to work with a bumper.

Other: If you need an extender for power, this is your best bet.
Also a modder's dream, and it has all the pins so you can use this to create other mods and attachments to your iphone.

Pros: Extends USB and power charging capability from any device with 30 pin connector to your ipod/iphone. Price is low. Build quality is pretty good.

Cons: Does NOT extend LINE OUT audio from your dock devices (ie iphone/ipod speakers) that use the 30 pin connector

Other: Good and cheap option to extend charging solutions. Not useful for speaker docks such as Bose or JBL etc... If you try to use it with said devices, you will only get power to the device and will not be able to play music through them.

Pros: i need this cable because i bought an emergency battery and it does not fit with my case (rebel touch by swich easy that known as a very hard case to take off) so this cable is very handy for me and its doing a great job for charging and overall im very happy tht i bought it (my device ipod touch 4g)

Universal can be used for many things
Price is great
Perfect length for most uses

Cons: Not really a con but would love it if it came in 25 feet as well for much larger extensions, other than that this is well worth the money no complaints

Other: For the price why not buy a couple you won't regret it....

Other: I tried to use this to allow plugging larger devices (like the iZettle card reader) to my iPad, but the devices are not recognized at all when using this extender cable, although they work fine when attaching directly to iPad. In my case this makes this cable completely worthless, but this should still be fine for attaching an extra battery to your ipad/iphone/ipod.
