DOD V660 Wide Angle 5MP CMOS Car Black Box w/ Night Vision / AV-Out / HDMI / SD (2.4" LCD)

Pros: - Great Video Quality (It's really 720p) - Long power cord - Build quality - Useful software - Daytime and Nighttime quality is better than others. But at night (if there is no streetlights), quality can be lower.

Cons: - DOD doesnt gives a guarantee for 3rd party selling ops. - Battery life is very very short (may be 5 mins max.) - SD Card movements is very painfuly. SdCard socket is not useful. - There is some deadpixells on CMOS sensor. May be ten. I just can realize it from DARK ROOM footage and very dark road footage. - You cant use this device or cant access to SD card when you connect to PC (via USB). It's just working (same as be inside of car) - 130 degree angle is not good, trust me. - There is no any GPS chip or something (as expected).

Other: It's a great choice for this price...

Pros: Good quality housing material, long power cord, good image, night mode. the ability to protect files from being overwritten, wide viewing angle, no loss of data between video files.

Cons: Broken pixels on the sensor, you can not work on a battery, plug the power cord and prevents access to the button "mode" and "down", the low sensitivity of the microphone - a very quiet sound that was state of the microphone "on / off" change when the engine is started, regardless the settings in the menu. Night mode is enabled only by hand - it is necessary to automate this.

Other: Given all those shortcomings, the price is too high!
