Dollars Snap-on LCD Cover for Canon EOS 400D

Pros: - Will protect your LCD from scratches - Will protect your LCD from greasy imprints from your fingers, face and nose (very important feature) - Will provide your LCD a nice cover from sunlight, improving the visibility outdoors in strong sunlight - The build quality is acceptable (plastic)

Cons: - The see-through lcd cover is all scratched and looks used.
- The fit is not completely good. The 'top' part connects to the viewfinder but the 'bottom' part only rests against the camera's bottom. Each time you open the cover the whole piece feels like it will break at its viewfinder connection. But quality seems good enough, so I doubt it will break.

Other: If you need a real LCD Cover and feel that the thin plastic films are not good enough, then this is what you need.

Pros: This is a must for protecting your LCD screen from finger prints and smudges from your nose and face, as well as scratches too. I'm a keen astrophotographer and this is a little gem for shielding the white light from your eyes at night, even though you have the option of turning the LCD display off, but when using your manual settings you need to view the screen to check on your settings as well as checking your exposure times beyond 30 seconds all in all I'm very happy with this...

Cons: As others have noticed the clear plastic underneath the main cover was scratched and used looking. I don't see the purpose of this as the main casing protects the screen enough so I removed it.

Other: Very affordable and a must have for any photographer on the move, in rough environments ie reporters nature photographers and the like...


JUST BUY ONE AND DON'T MOAN ABOUT IT.....................

Pros: My wife wanted a screen protector for her Canon Digital Rebel XTi but she kept having peel off problems with those stick on things. I first suggested those clip on white plastic things but I couldn't find them. Then I found this and at first I thought it might be bulky. Turns out it's not bulky at all. My wife says this thing also has holes so the sensor on the camera can detect when your face is at the eyepiece. My wife likes it.

Cons: I think it's a tad pricy but it's worth it. My wife says it would be nice to tap the door down to close it rather than tapping the sides first and then the door.

Other: My wife likes it so I can't complain. :)

Pros: The cover looks great on camera. It gives it a very professional appearance. Very useful on sunny days, helping to see the screen and protecting it. Very well built. Very robust, even getting held only for the eye vewer. Easy to put on, remove and use. Fully justifies the price, which is very low for what you get. You should get one!

Cons: Nothing to say about it.

Other: GET ONE!
