Dome CMOS Color Surveillance Security Camera with 12-IR LED Night-Vision - NTSC (12V DC)

Pros: Camera works great in both light and dark. Colour resolution is better than SKU 15757, although this one isnt waterproof, and does have a few less LEDs. Professional looking dome shape too.

Cons: Not waterproof. LEDs give off faint red glow at night. Otherwise, no other problems really.

Other: If you want and inexpensive dome camera for day and night use, I recommend this one!

Pros: very good video quality, during day or night. infra-red very strong. nice build quality, the dome seens to be strong.

Cons: during night, when using the dome, its hard to see, because the IR leds are so strong that blur the image... if you remove the dome, the image become perfect again. during day, nothing wrong.

Other: works great for me, i putted it in my front door.

Pros: - Pro video surveillance camera for less than 1/4 what you'd pay in stores. - Easy to install, setup - RCA connection instead of those pesky BNC connections. - Works with SKU.15989 power supply

Cons: - Image quality not terrible but not HD either, looks like a light filter or something is over it. - Nighttime infrared LED's reflect against the globe making the image white out. Removing of the globe cures this.

Other: Perfectly suited for an everyday video surveillance camera at home. Not recommended at a business because of the image quality. Works fine for home, though!

Pros: Professional looking camera. Quite unobtrusive and during the day, can be quite hard to see where the camera is pointing.

Cons: To change to focus of the camera, you need to remove the IR-LED plate to access the locking screw of the lens (see below). A much better option would be to use a spring rather than a screw to lock the lens.
I have purchased a few of these and I have noticed some quite variable quality:
- Some of the cameras have screwed-in IR-LED plates and others have glued in plates. Glued in plates make it next to impossible to change to focus of the camera (see above).
- Pictures during daylight are uniformly ok but some of the cameras pictures are incredibly grainy at night and others have a fine picture. I have played around and it seems to be a camera problem rather than a power/cable etc problem.

Other: Buy it if you are using during the day or are not too fussy with image quality at night.

Pros: Can't beat the price! It appears to be good quality. The dome is perfectly clear and arrived scratch free. Night vision works well. There is a foam ring around the lens to prevent the IR LED's reflecting on the dome.

Cons: Colors don't look quite right, not very vibrant. Red seems a bit brownish and overall the picture is a bit washed out. I guess this is due to the lack of an IR filter.

Other: Good value for money since it is only 20 bucks. If you can live with the not-so-vibrant colors, it is a pretty good camera.
