Dual-Probe Soil PH/Moisture/Light Intensity Meter for Gardening

Pros: Very easy to use, gives instant feedback about soil condition. Although probably not an exact reading, it does provide a pretty good indication whether your plants need some attention. I use it primarily for watering, to make sure plants do not dry out or get drowned. As it does not require battery power, it is always ready for use.

Cons: Needs to be handled with some care. Probes can easily bend when pushed into the soil. Also, the item should not be left outside as it is definitely not a waterproof design.
