Dual USB to SATA Adapter Cable with 2.5" Plastic SATA HDD Case

Pros: Great small adapter for 2.5" SATA hard drives. Case isn't as nice, secure and easy to open as the ADIDT 3.5" cases sold on this site.

Cons: Doesn't work with 3.5" SATA hard drives. DOES NOT WORK WITH SATA 3.5" HARD DRIVES BECAUSE THEY DRAW TOO MUCH POWER. I THOUGHT I WOULD BUY IT AND TRY IT WITH 3.5" DRIVES, BUT IT DIDN'T WORK. However, this is clearly stated in the write-up so I can't really say they didn't warn me.

Other: Great buy for 2.5" drives.

Pros: Fine adapter, easy to use and very practical. Simply plug behind the hard drive that the system automatically recognizes.
For Brazilian customers: Otimo adaptador, facil de usar e muito pratico. Basta encaixar atras do disco rigido que automaticamente o sistema reconhece.

Cons: Doesn't work with 3.5" SATA hard drives, it does not provide enough energy to power the same only by usb. For hard drive 3.5 is required external power.
For Brazilian customers: Não funciona com HD`s SATA 3,5, pois ele não fornece energia suficiente para o mesmo apenas por USB. Para o disco rígido 3.5 é necessário alimentação externa.

Other: Good product and cheap. Recommended for anyone who has a hard drive or 2.5 and use it as external HDD
For Brazilian customers: Produto bom e barato. Recomendado para quem tem um disco rigido de notebbok e quer usá-lo como HD externo.

Pros: This cable makes it easy to connect 2.5" sata drives. With my old case i had to unscrew 8 tiny screws swap drivers, after i was done i had to put back the old drive and assamble everything again.
The cable isn't too long so it is easy to take with you.
The build quality is good enough.

Cons: I don't use the plastic case. I threw it away the same day.
It can't be used with 3.5" drives.

Other: Good product for a good price.
I would recommend buying this is you swap allot of 2.5" drivers (like me)

Pros: It´s a very good adapter. I tried to connect 2 hard drive sata 2.5" e works fine.
I tried use with a sata 3.5 e don´t work. later i find: needs external force.

Pros: The case is actually very sturdy and can be used to store a Notebook HD in a safe way. The cable actually works with good speed and can be used as a way to backup important data out of dying notebooks.

Cons: It has a cable that MAY be too short for you, depending on your working environment.

Other: If you need to connect HDs to USB ports in a quick and useful fashion, this product is for you.

Pros: It does the job!!
In just a few seconds y got it connected and working!!!
It´s really cheap and made an external hard drive from just a bronken notebook!

Cons: Instructions only came in chinese, but not needed at all

Other: It is even nicer than pictured!!! Here looked much cheaper, just bought this one as I was afraid customs will take an aluminium enclosure as a HDD and made me do some paperwork and pay for fees.... I thought I had to be very carefull, but it is much more well built and sturdy that I thought!!

Pros: - Very easy to use. Just plug it it and you're good to go. - Very handy plastic case. - Indicator lights for power and access. - Surprisingly high quality.

Cons: - None. Works exactly how it's supposed to.

Other: Buy it. It's worth it. It definitly does the job.

Pros: Simple to connect, I've used with SATA and SATA2 disks, without presenting any problems. With 5400 RPM disks only need to use the main USB connector, with disks of 7200 RPM or higher is required to use two USB ports, regardless of disk size. The plastic case is quite strong, the 2.5 "disks fit perfectly and do not move within the case. Initially I thought the disk would heat up more than normal and melt the case and the disk, but the truth is that the disk kept sufficiently ventilated. The cable is of good quality, unlike other USB cables that only have 3 thin threads.

Cons: The cable could be longer, but it's enough. I can't think in other cons.

Other: If, like me, you have sata hard disk drives idle for lack of a enclosure, this cable and case is a good buy for you.

Pros: works with plug in and play, didnt break, extr cord if you need more power. i had an old 2.5 hdd from my laptop that was no longer working, so i put it in my desktop and have been happy ever since. absolute great solution if your laptop dies.

Cons: cord may not be long enough for whatever use you may need it, but it reached my desk from atop a dell precision t3400, so that was cool.

Other: if you need a cheap solution for your old hard drives, buy this.

Pros: Works exactly as described. Casing is well made and strong. Protects the drive. In case of ALL 4 of my drives did not require second USB power supplement. The cable is very flexible and the quality is much better than I had expected.

Cons: None that I encountered.

Other: A very cost effective substitution for external 2.5" drive alluminium USB casing.
