Pros: -Price! -Construction! -Good satellite receiver.... good for it specific purpose.. ;) -All good with client/server functions -Fast and nice zapping -Great Disecq functioning -Easy to configure, dont need to be an expert... just a average user. -Buy it... you wont regret it! -Thinking to buy 2 more... but also thinking about HD model also available in dealextreme. Fast shipping via air mail.

Cons: Not an original.... but very nice clone! Beware of original Dreamelite images... choose a NON BOMB software... but if your buying it... you probably allready know that.

Pros: cheapest 518 that i could find including customs charges
has built in power supply no need for power supply dangling at back of it like 500s
on/off switch on back
has digital audio output
has 12v dc output to power a wifi bridge
blue light in front panel thats indicates that ethernet cable is plugged in
500s doesnt have this

Cons: build quality is a little poor where ac cable plugs into box... it was lose on two boxes i bought
so be careful when plugging it in and out
thats the only fault i had with box

Other: if your just looking for a box to watch SD television
and dont need the card reading capability
or scart connection this is the perfect box
as its a lot tidier with the internal power supply
and the blue led on front to let you no ethernet is connected is a big bonus

Pros: -Low cost receiver. -Perfect for CS. -Ethernet port. -Linux based system: You can add apps, manage via web interface, choose a more friendly firmware to you. -Streaming video over your home LAN. -Record video on a shared computer in LAN (Ngrab app). -Easy to setup using an serial cable. -If you read any user forum in the internet, you will find the correct tools to setup or fix it.

Cons: -No cons. The receiver looks great for this price =)

Other: For Brazilian costumers: This receiver cost around R$100 , less than R$ 300 at MercadoLivre. Look at MundoAZ forum for the correct firmware to install to use on SKY or ViaEmbratel. Enjoy it =)

Pros: works just like a dream. the one i received looks the same as in the pictures, but mine says 528-S on the box and the stb. otherwise everthing spec wise and look of it are the same. someone mentioned there was blue led light on the front to show network activity, this one does not, has a green led light that is bright enough you can see through the case.
my favorite things
1) has component and rca outputs right on the back, no more scart adapters!
2) No more external a/c power adapter` brick, the power supply is tiny and inside the case
3)has a switch, to turn on and off others dont
4) has 12v dc output connector, useful for an ethernet bridge or adapter.

Cons: screw holes on side of case were put together sloppy, and scratched, i took them out and put them in straight.
power connector and power rocker switch are loose, they wont break, but higher quality could have been used.
remote control feels cheap, but it works, and is not cheap enough i feel it will break., i think it will last for some time

Pros: Easy to flash with Gemini software for key sharing.
There is a lot of software available for this box.
With Picture in Picture (PiP) it is capable of viewing 2 channels at the same time!

Cons: Although there is a slot there is no card reader inside the box.
It won't do high definition decoding, but I don't need that.

Other: Cheapest box I could find for key sharing software. If you do not need high definition or a card reader this is your box.

Pros: This unit is widespread in Brazil, its low cost does not interfere with their good quality. Very good for to do IKS and SKS. Good image and I do not regret even a bit of purchase. You can buy without fear that has many things in forums in all world about this product.

Other: I Liked a lot, and if you take a look the SKU:100432 VAP11G IEEE802.11b/g WiFi Bridge - You will like it´s too. Will be used for not to be necessary net cable.

Pros: It's great, i'm using with céu sat, got all channels, payperview and more. Have an website that you can manage configs, channels, channels grid MPG. Its possible to watch channels trough network with VLC player. Its also possible to record the channel on a harddrive/folder shared on the network, I wasn't expecting that. Just awesome.

Cons: It was my first time, I have advanced computer Knowledge, but it was very hard to configure. Internet have a lot of things to help but the excess of information make it more dificult.

Other: I liked it very much, ordering another one.

Pros: Is a good clone of original DreamBox 500S. Don't hang up, good conectivity, and good quality. The remote controller is the same of original (I have both) but is lightly noisly (the buttons). The firmware is Enigma 1 and i hadn't problems with mbox and keysharing. Boot quickly (more than original Dreambox). I had it for two months ago and zero prolems with it. I recomend this product 100%

Cons: I haven't trouble, its ok. Packing of manufacturer is little poor. Hasn't hdmi out a nd this is a little problem on modern tv, but it's no critical.

Other: Perfect decoder, good ratio price-value. No problems. Good facilities and good quality of remote commander. Boot more quickly than the original Dreambox.
