DVB-T Digital TV USB 2.0 Dongle With Remote Controller

Pros: - Adds a DVB-T tuner (called TDT in Spain) to your PC very easily without having to install a PCI card
- Good price!
- Standard European antenna connection, not the small one, like the other version available here at DX: http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.8309
- Good image quality, if there's good reception
- Raw stream recording (records the original DVB-T/TDT stream without reencoding)
- The driver CD includes BlazeVideo HDTV Player and the legit serial to unlock it. A $49,45 value! ( according to its developer's site: http://www.blazevideo.com/hdtv-player/ ). The CD includes version 4.0, but you can download version 6.0 from that site and the serial seems to work with that, too!
- You can use the included mini-antenna with other DVB-T/TDT and even analog TV appliances. Good for my PC monitor, which includes a TV tuner, but this feature wasn't used until now, since I couldn't be bothered to bring an antenna cable to this room :)

Cons: - The BlazeVideo 4.0 program freezes if reception is not optimal. To unfreeze you have to restart the program. This is specially problematic if you want to record shows. I solved it using a shorter antenna cable, which seemed to improve reception a lot, so now the program works fine. But be cautious before buying if you don't have good reception.
- The included mini-antenna is pretty useless with the USB tuner, since it pixelates a lot, but can be used with other "less picky" DVB-T appliances and the image is fine.
- No analog Composite/S-Video connections, but I wasn't looking for that anyway, since I already have an analogue Hauppauge card with those features.
- Remote is a bit flimsy, but to be expected at this price point

Pros: This product is of good quality, very well build. The base of the antenna has a magnet that sticks to metal surfaces. The wire that goes to the antenna is of great quality, as well as its connector.

Cons: - bad antenna that does not receive anything, but it has long cable, so if you stick it on somthnig metal( has magnet on bottom) than reception get better, in my case it was better for 100% - need to plug in to a rooftop antenna or an indoor antenna that has a signal booster if there is no reception even if you stick it on something metal - blaze HDTV software lags once in a while and colors are changing if you have bad reception

Pros: - It works on my country (Portugal). - The driver CD includes BlazeVideo HDTV Player 4.0 and a serial to unlock it. You can download the version 6.0 and use the same serial number. - The receiver works fine and the image quality is good. - The remote control is very good. - The antenna have a strong magnet on the base, so you fix it on a metal surface. - Time-shift works fine. - The price is fair. - Also works with windows media center.

Cons: - The antenna cable could be bigger. - Sometimes when I record a show, the sound is not recorded! It is probably be a software problem... - It takes a long time to tune TV stations, but you only have to tune once...

Other: Very useful to me, since I do not have a television. I use it many times without problems. I do not know how to tune radio stations. I did not found instructions to do this. But I am not sure if there are any available digital radio station on my region.

Pros: It is a great device and works as expected. It doesn't overheat while using. The antenna has magnetic stand which is comfortable. CD included has all drivers and software for running. It has a standard antenna input so you can use yours.

Cons: Maybe delivery time was a bit more than expected but it is ok. The packaging was fine and the product works.
