DVI 24+1M to HDMI Female Gold Plated Adapter

Pros: Well. It worked right out-of-the-box. I simply plugged it in and I got HD video. I used a macbook for the experiment. Using the Mini-DVI to DVI adapter and the DVI to HDMI adapter I am reviewing here. Connected to a 32-inch LCD TV. This might be obvious for some, but you must know that you need a separate cable for audio, since DVI only transmits video.

Cons: No cons whatsoever. It works great and is cheaper than the cheapest thing I could get around.

Other: It is a great adapter. It works right out of the box and it produces high quality images over the HDMI input of my TV/monitor.

Pros: Works fine Doesn't fall apart (immediately)

Cons: Could be a lot cheaper still Feels and looks flimsy

Other: It's relatively cheap, it works, and it will probably stay working for some period of time. Get it if you need it.

Pros: The item is reasonably priced, but if it doesn't work then it isn't worth anything!

Cons: It does not work on my Toshiba television. Either the item is defective or it is not designed correctly to use with DVI/HDCP televisions. The connector is of poor quality and it did not fit well into the DVI port.

Other: Avoid this item!

Pros: Very good quality DVI to HDMI adapter. I have mine installed on my Media Center PC on the DVI output to output 720p to my HDTV. The quality of the video is the same as any monitor cable looks, but I don't know about audio quality I'm not using audio over HDMI. The adapter is solidly built and much cheaper than you can get it in the United States.

Cons: No cons at all the adapter looks and works great in my setup.

Other: I would buy this again if I needed another DVI to HDMI adapter.

Pros: Testei no meu monitor e funcionou direitinho, inicialmente eu comprei pra poder usar no ps3 mas como o note da minha mãe tem saída hdmi também eu pude testar e deu certo. Mas só funciona com os monitores com o final BFQ, se não tiver, esqueça.

I tested on my monitor and it worked, I initially bought for use in power as the ps3 but note my mother also has HDMI output I could test and it worked. But it only works with monitors with BFQ the end, if not, forget it.

Other: Se você é pobre que nem eu (hehehe) e não tem dinheiro ainda pra comprar uma tv lcd ou led e tem um monitor lcd é uma boa escolha
If you're poor like me (hehehe) and has no money yet to buy an lcd tv and has an LED or LCD monitor is a good choice

Pros: Price is low, especially compared to the build quality.
This adapter is really sturdy, it doesn't feel hollow at all.
The connections look well built, and the picture you get through this looks good.

Cons: Mine had one minor flaw in it, the other screw can come off the housing, the other one is well seated though. The screw does it job when it's connected, though, so if you don't lose it during transportation, it'll be fine.

Other: A fairly well built adapter to use with your computer perhaps. Plug this to your computer and add a quality HDMI cable and your good to go for up to 1080p video.

Pros: - Gold plated connectors.
- Nice price
- Nice plating
- Easy of use
- No problem using it with high resolutions
- Robust build, can't find any weak points.

Other: I have this hooked up between a samsung LED tv and a ATI Radeon HD videocard. Used to play HD content and BlueRay discs trough the mediacenter pc.

Pros: Very good quality. It works very well on my computer. The HDMI cable attaches to the HDMI female very firmly. All the DVI pins are present. Amazing price. It would be 10 times more expensive in my country... It is very small, almost as if it is a normal DVI cable.

Cons: No cons. I cannot think of anything wrong about it...

Other: Worth the price. Quality is very good. I don't have a HDMI output on my video card and now I do!
