Pros: -Very useful device for camping, use on holiday, hiking and other general expeditions.
-Has mini usb!
-Compact unit.
-Reasonably well built.
-English instructions
Cons: -Winding handle is potentially the weakest part of the product.
-Doesnt fit all phones (siemens s55/siemens c65)
-Takes ages to well charge battery (not the point of product though).
-The manual says its not designed to fully charge product. I guess thats because the current is too high for the final stages of the charge.
Other: Easy to use.
Its worth the money.
Useful in many situations!

Pros: Charges my Nokia 6300 and blackberry curve.
Came with a mini-usb plug, an unexpected bonus.
Cons: Build quality feels cheap, I am at times a bit worried about breaking it.
Agree with above poster, handle does feel weak.
Takes a while to charge, but it works well for its intended purpose.
Other: A very very clever device at such a great price. I leave it in the glovebox in case of emergencies, but I'm going to stick with my car adapter for now. A lot less tiring.

Pros: This product can be really usefull especially for people who are traveling and bring lots of electronic stuff.
Cons: just trun and turn and turn and turn.............it will charge your electronic stuff, telephone, USB products like MP3 player and many more.
Other: I'm not using it so often, but you can imagine that when you use it, it is when you really need it ; so only for thins, it is a good product.
nothing much to say here except that it is a little bit noisy, everybody know when you use it.

Pros: I bought this charger because i thought i could use it my car or carry it anywhere i went, but there are no pros to it really...
Cons: There are a lot of cons: - The adapters are cheaply built... - It doesn't have ALL adapters (obviously)... - You have to crank it forever before it can give you only 5 minutes or so of battery power... - It's not really useful, because if you want to use in the car, just buy a 12V adapter... it's much better...
Other: It regret having bought it... Only used it once and didn't like it...

Pros: This would be a very nice thing to have in the rucksack ... sometimes one really needs to use the phone, but it's not always one has access to a power socket. I also really like the idea that they have a LED there ... so one can be prepared both for darkness and empty cellphone battery.
Cons: Charging the battery for some few minutes is probably not very good for the battery. According to the other reviews, it seems like the set of cellphone adapters is different in different revisions of this product. I seem to have been unlucky, the two most useful plugs were missing; USB and thin Nokia adaptor. It's many years since Nokia shrinked their charging plug. The LED gives so little light it's useless. I've also bought sku 12932, it is a dynamo-driven keychain led, much smaller and gives much better light. The build quality is rather poor and the device feels flimsy. After spinning it around for a while, it sounded like the cogs were about to break. I managed to receive one SMS, but not to read it until the device broke completely (though it seems like an electrical, not mechanical fault. Device gives no voltage. I should probably screw it up and check if I can figure out something. LED still works)
Other: It would probably have been a nice device if it would have had the right adaptors and if it wouldn't have broken so easily. I can understand that it's needed with small crank and mostly fragile plastic parts to keep the weight, size and price at the right level.

Pros: Pretty cheap.
Would be very handy in certain situations - power out emergencies - or even the end of the world as we know it - could still play your mp3 player and what not
Cons: No good for general use - you won't save any money by manually charging instead of plugging your device into the wall.
In the time it would take to charge something with this you would have missed a coupel hours of work :P
Other: Good for just in case emergencies - and you'd be furious if you did need one but not have one
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: charges are not too hungry phones. His work is done. From her hand is not tired, do not need to turn quickly and without power. Very handy on a lonely island:)
Cons: None of the adapter does not come to my phone. There are like Siemens, but it is not. Had to take the connector from the old charger and solder. The plastic started to fall apart almost immediately. PDA does not charge whatever one may say
Other: if you're going to the desert or an island - this is for you! :) I just bought a second battery for my phone
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: - Charges anything you want
- Has plenty of connectors
Cons: - Takes too much effort
- Too small for my hands to be convenient
Other: Think twice whether you really need it. Maybe a backup charger on batteries is a better choice.
