    Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

    Pros: Very nice looking. I like the somewhat retro look of this clear bulb, clearly setting it apart from the other LED bulbs out there. Beautiful warm white light, very akin to standard incandescent bulbs.

    Cons: It's a E14, in other words, it DOESN'T FIT in common E17 sockets in North America, nor in the E12 Candelabra base that is sometimes used. Unfortunately DX doesn't yet sell sockets to replace incompatible ones, nor any standard E12 or E17-socketed lamps or adapters. This is a shame. I know it's a 3W, but light output doesn't seem very large. May be insufficient for some people as a reading light.

    Other: If you can build some kind of workaround to make it fit in standard E17 sockets, this bulb, with its polished finished, is definitely a must.
