E14 to E27 Light Lamp Bulb Adapter Converter

Pros: Many low-power (less than 10W) lamps have E14 connector, but many lights (chandeliers etc.) have E27 sockets. If you wish to use low-power E14 (14 mm) lamp with light which has E27 (27 mm) sockets - you have to either replace the socket or use this small adapter.

Cons: Some CFLs (Compact Fluorescent Lamps) have very short connector and don't screw into this adapter.
Not suitable for frequent lamp changing.
Two pieces of metall and one piece of plastic should be cheaper.

Other: If you want to screw a low-power E14 lamp into E27 socket - buy some, they are cheap and do their job.

Pros: I don't really know what to say. It's not like there are many noticeably different competing products, so it's difficult to identify "Pros".

Cons: There may be some tight light fixtures where this product and a light bulb won't fit. Of course, there is little the manufacturer of this adapter could do about that. It really can't be made much smaller.
The only real con is the price. I don't think conventional light bulbs are easier to make, yet they cost a fraction of the price of this gadget. I suppose at least half the price is the cost of shipping.

Other: This is a very useful gadget that expands your choice of light bulbs. Especially smaller, lower-powered light bulbs are often only available with E14 connectors, while many light fixtures have E27 sockets. This adapter allows you to use both kinds of bulbs (how surprising, eh?).

Pros: Very convenient to test out E14 bulbs when most lamps in the house are E27. Useful adapter when you need to replace an E27 bulb but only have E14 bulbs handy. Pretty well built. Well yes, there's plastic - high temp material and that is standard today.

Cons: The white round plastic isolator doesn't reach up quite high enough to be sure that the metal of the bulb can't be touched, particularly if bulb isn't fully screwed down. Probably not an issue in a 115V environment, but worth taking note of at 230V.

Other: Good to have a few of these around.

Pros: Very good quality makes for a lasting durable product which will last a long long time even when in use under hot operating temperature. For example using it to convert my E27 bulb holder to become E14. It is a very simple process to swap out the old E27 bulbs and replace them with E14 bulbs. The process of swapping out 3 bulbs took less than a minute.

Cons: I would have preferred a version that is black in color.

Other: Use the DX bulk rate option for best bang-for-bucks!

Pros: Its a great converter for converting small cheap LED-bulbs to E27. I have a few old lamps here and there that are on 24/7 for guidance light with very low power, and i was now able to convert to LED thanks to this!

Cons: A thing to consider with these is that there could be a fire hazard. But as long as you stay with low-power-bulbs the risk should be minimal.

Other: Many old lamps have E27 and if you want to use them with E17 for example low power led as guidance light, this is precisely what you need!

Pros: It does what it has to. With its help you can easily use E14 bulbs in E27 sockets. The building quality is fair enough.

Cons: None so far from my side. If you have such E14 bulb, which has short thread and big body, it may can happen the bulb will not fit in the adapter.

Other: It worth to buy this little converter gadget.

Pros: These things are very useful here. As clear E27 bulbs of 15 Watt or less are almost not available anymore due to new environmental regulations this one lets you use a bulb intended for a fridge or one used above the stove. These fridge bulbs are always E14 so this converter comes out very handy

Cons: There is absolutely none I can think of.

Other: Simple useful thing and does the job for me.
