E27 13W 52-5050 SMD LED White Light Lamp Bulb (85~265V)

Pros: Light flood, in a garage, damn so good when coming back in night. Have it associated to sku.39580, PIR reacting at night only. This is a best choice in functionality, flood of light, automatically started and ended. But building quality is so poor :-(.

Cons: Building quality of the PLUG is just insane. I have put the light in sku.39580, just for a try. When removing it, just by turning, the plug did not move while the rest was gently moving as it looks like all was ok, it stays and when i have felt a resistance, it was too late. The wire were off the plug INTERNALLY, hopefully the electronics board is intact. I have remove the 4 screws and build something with the sku.39580 directly, they were planned to work together anyway, now it's for live....

Other: This delivery was faster than an other one ordered before ;-). IF this building "no go" was not existing i would say this is a marvelous piece of led thingy. I still plant to ahev some, but without having it directly plugged in any socket because any child could break it, kindly, without notice, and have a fire started...

Pros: I bought this to replace a 60W incandescent, and was a bit reluctant because I was afraid that it would not create enough light as needed. I was very wrong, as the light output that I got was more comparable to a 100W bulb! To avoid mistakes, however, in regards to total lumen output, this is probably much less than a 100W incandescent, however, the original bulb was inside a wall-mounted light fixture with a reflector at the back. The reflector would never be 100% efficiencies, so, with incandescent, you get losses in the light that bounces back. Since this lamp has LEDs mounted only on one side, you avoid these losses, so it appears much brighter.

Cons: As others have mentioned, the screw mounting can turn freely (it's not glued to the lamp). While this can be convenient as it allows you to adjust the angle, it is difficult to install and remove - you need to use properly insulated long nose pliers, grab it by the screw cap and tighten/loosen it.
Also, the aluminium heat sink is more of a decoration than functional. Since the LEDs are on a simple ceramic board, there is no thermal path from the LEDs to the aluminium. However, 5050 LEDs like the ones in this lamp, should not need a good thermal path anyway.

Other: This is a very good light for garages and other places where you need good light but without much concern to aesthetics. It is very useful for places where it is turned on and off very often, as such cycles damage CFLs very quickly while on LED lamps, it shouldn't matter.

Pros: ok - this purchase is after a lot of experiments i do with buying all types of energy saving lights - specially led branded.
and the light power is usually not good and can't really replace the heat bulbs- ---- at least untill i got this light bulb

the best money value i experanced till now in this market

Cons: the body of it is plastic with aluminum thick foil over (i wonder why ...)
and the light bulb have some significant weight - much more then normal light bulb, but hey - who cares ?

Other: cost 20 dollars - which is not cheep - but the light it gives - worth the money
and it is unique in "greenes to low electric power consumption"

Pros: Lots of light, it replaces an incandescent bulb of 100 (probably even more) watts
Works fine, I have mounted it on exterior and after more than 2 months it continues working without problems every night (about 14 hours/day)

Cons: Quality is not excelent, but good enough
Price is high, but considering the savings in electricity, it´s a very good deal

Other: A little pricy, but still an excellent choice

Pros: Great Lighting. It really bright! The color of light is about 6000K, it is a great substitute for a fluorescent bulb.

Cons: Only 90º of rotation, which makes it hard to put it in right position. The build quality is avarage, but it does not bad. When you light it on, you can't see anything but the light.

Other: You should buy it. I will buy another one or two. The price is quite high, but I hope it will lasts twice than a fluorescent.

Pros: Installed in kitchen, replacing a 20W fluorescent. Better light now in every corner, even lights inside the fridge when opening the door. Received only in 23 days to Spain, I believe this is a quick service.

Cons: A bit longer than my prepared housing position. Some working minutes of DIY and OK 100%.

Other: A bit expensive, but worth the results and 100% satisfied.

Pros: - Good build quality, not like cheap and light plastic. - It's very bright! seems that like a 120W incandescent lamp. - you should project the light to be reflected by a white surface, direct lighting in the eyes is too bright

Cons: - A bit long, impossible to screw in in some places, nevertheless, given the fact that i is so bright, I can live with it, - It heats a bit while working, that's why they use aluminum body, to dissipate the heat.

Other: Buy it, it will save your pocket later. I would recommend it to a friend without hesitation

Pros: The 13W led bulb sure is bright. It's comparable with 100+ watts oridinary bulb or 20-30W energy savings bulb.

Cons: Lamp does not illuminate instantly, there is like 0.5 seconds to wait. It is still faster than most energy savings lamps. When the lamp is illuminated it sarts with full power unlike most energy savings lamps.

Other: Good value for money, if the lamp would illuminate instantly this would be absolutely perfect product.

Pros: Just replaced kitchen's 20w compact fluorescent lamp (CFL) and it seems brighter, all the light is directed to one side comparing to CFL that goes in all directions, so you have to consider it in your decision.

Cons: Heavier than CFL, so your socket must keep it. My one is not strong so the Led Lamp doesn't stay "aligned" as the CFLs. Still expensive!

Other: Probably will buy others after some test period. Just bought some MR16 led lamps to test if they are as good as this one.

Pros: Considerably brighter than a bulky 28W Phillips CFL. I'm using it for an outside wall-mount light. Seems to run a lot cooler than the corn-style lamps I have.

Cons: For an outdoor application I wouldn't feel comfortable if your light fitting isn't water tight. Mine is gasketed to it's ok. The LEDs are exposed so this unit needs some protection. As noted by others there is a 0.5 second delay when you turn it on. That might irritate some.

Other: I'm impressed. I thought the 28W CFL was pretty efficient but this produces substantially more useful light at half the power. Happy I bought 3.
