E27 60MM 5W RGB Multicolored IR Remote Control Light Bulb (AC 85~265V)

Pros: + four brightness levels + good build quality + small and simple IR remote + wide working voltage range + bright enough + ideal for background lighting

Cons: - always "flash mode" after power on (by ordinary light switch, not by IR remote). I'd prefer simple white instead. - no brightness control in flash/fade modes.

Other: I like this lamp. Ok, it is not very useful as a replacement for ordinary light bulb, but good design element. Most of the time I use it as a "standby light".

Pros: - build quality of both the light and the remote seems good. the light more so than the remote i guess. - lights to the sides as well as upwards - is a bit brighter than a lot of the other multi colour lights on dx because it is 6w not 3w. - if you switch off with the remote then it remembers which mode you had it on when you turn it back on with the remote.

Cons: - the 4 modes (strobe, flash, fade and smooth) are not really anything like their descriptions. 2 of the modes cycle through the colours without fading. the other 2 cycle through whilst fading. i usually set it to one colour anyway, depending on mood. - forgets which colour you were on if you switch it off with the light switch. - white mode is nowehere near the brightness of the real bulb, but that's not the point i guess.

Other: really nice light. i have mine next to my bed so i can look at some sweet colours reflected off the ceiling before i go to sleep.

Pros: Easy to use Brighter than many alternatives Bulbs seem to sync

Cons: Some transition modes rather abrupt

Other: The ultimate question is how long they will last, but they are a very decent deal so far. If the price came down more, I would get several others to use for mood lighting in other situations.

Pros: * A couple nice smooth transition modes. * Has several preset colors that are easy to pick. * Dimmable * Produces little heat even after hours of being on.

Cons: * Lack of color choices in the yellow area * White is actually quite blue * The individual color presets are not well divided among the spectrum * A bit too dim to light up the room with more than a dim mood/night light. * Dimmiable only goes from 100% down to about 60%; more range would be better, but hard to get with LEDs.

Other: A good controllable mood light that could use a little more brightness at the high end

Pros: - Beautiful finish and solid build make this product a great decoration item. - Easy to install - just rotate it in any e27 socket! - Remote control works really well and responds at great range (should point it direct to the lamp, but not an issue). - Nice color range, you can change the ambient mood in seconds. - Has dimmer (see cons) and some transition modes which should make a nice effect (in christmas season only). - Rated only 5W.

Cons: - Price - In my opinion this is the main con of this item. Very expensive for a bedside lamp (it's not brighter than for uses another than indirect/background light). - Some colors beyond the basic ones are not precise. - Strobe mode is a lame. - 3 dimmer mode only - something between 100% and 90% only; second lame.

Other: This item is too expensive for a bedside / indirect / background lamp, but is very easy to install and use. Could be a lot brighter with increased dimmer range to make this product a winner.

Pros: Nice to be able to remote control my lighting.
I think it's reasonable price for this piece of brand new technology. I love technology!
It will probably go a long life, considering it's LEDs.

Cons: Yellow looks like green, white has too much blue.
This is the problem with all RGB LED lighting I guess.
I hoped I could change the colors more gradually but it is just what's under these buttons.

Other: Interesting, I will sure experiment with more of these.
Requesting room ambient lighting system with remote control for 4-6 of lamps, please DX!

Pros: 16 colors available:
Red, orange, 3 tints of yellow
Green, aqua, 3 tints of light blue green
2 tints of blue, 3 tints of purple
and white
Light weight, nice looking and supposedly long lasting
Remote changing of colors and turning on/off the led
Fits in a regular bulb's socket, and is cheap

Cons: IS NOT RATED 5W! (but rather 3W)
Asian marketing and rating, don't fall for it!

The bottom had some aluminum chips hanging (could cut myself on it).
Inside the bulb I can clearly see a feeding wire (electrical) that obstructs the ledlight and casts a shadow on the bulb.
In the inside of the bulb, there are only 3 leds (one red, one green, and one blue).
All yellows look green, white looks blue-ish.
It has only 16 basic colors, no functions to play with RGB to get better coloring.

Other: A must have!
Within 1 year (or less) it will have your led light paid back in electricity!
It would be nice to have this LED light with 256 color settings..
Good as a bed night light.

Pros: Overall, this is a great bulb. The colors are very consistent, and the white provides a good brightness (maybe a bit less than a 60 watt incandescent bulb).
The remote is extremely responsive. In a 20 x 10 foot room, I was able to change colors and modes from anywhere and with the remote pointed in any direction.

Cons: My one complaint about this bulb is that if you turn the power off from the wall rather than by using the "soft" power switch on the remote, the next time you turn it on it starts in fast color-changing mode. I really would like it to start off just in white and then give you the option to change colors. For this reason, it's not practical as an everyday light bulb unless you ONLY use the soft power on the remote.
If you use the soft power, it does turn on in whatever mode it was last in when you turned it off.

Other: Great novelty item. Might not be the best for an everyday light bulb. If you turn your light on and off with a wall switch, get a white bulb instead of a color-changing one.

Pros: The build quality is good. Im using these bulbs for a few months now and they still work good. The remote works good (you have to aim). I testen it from like 10 - 15 meters. They easily fit into the E27 plug. I'm using 4 of these bulbs in pairs.

Cons: The white colour mode is not white. It's a bit blue/purple. So when using in pairs it can give problems, because some of the bulbs produce blue/purlpe light instead of white light.

Other: Good product, medium price.

Pros: The remote control really works. I thought it wouldn't have any range, but it worked quite well. The lamp construction is really solid for a led light bulb. With the remote control you can select the colour you want or use some "light cycle modes" where the lights keep changing in a sequence ( good for Christmas season ). I'm using it for about a month in bathroom, because I wake up very early and I don't like to have a strong light in my face right after I wake up, so this light have a good use to make me wake up little bt little.

Cons: The light is very weak, so if you need it to ilumate some room, forget about it. It does a decent job for a decorative ambient light only and the white light is more bluish than white. It have an intensity power button on the remote, but the diference between full and low intensity is minimum.

Other: It's a good decorative light, or mood light to place somewhere in your house where you don't need a strong light.
