E27 to E27 Remote Control Light Bulb Socket (AC 110~250V)

Pros: This Remote Control Light Bulb Socket works perfectly. I am using it with a fluorecent lamp and works well. The remote control has a good range.
Este soquete com controle remoto funciona bem. Eu testei com lâmpadas incandescentes e fluorescentes e em ambas o controle funcionou corretamente. O controle remoto tem um bom alcance, mas apenas no quarto.

Cons: This product has no instructions, just a box with Chinese instructions. I just discovered how to use it when I read instructions written by an user on DX forum. After a lot of unsuccessful attempts, I got it.

Other: Great product!

Pros: + Works with CFL (compact fluorescent lamp) + Fits into the bulb socket + No wall installation required + Intuitive installation and usage, no instructions required + Good build quality! + Remote control has good range and responds immediately. You don't even have to point it directly to the device.

Cons: Can't really think of any!

Other: I bought this gadget so that I could turn off the lights from my bed, without having to get up and head to the power switch, which is located at the other end of the room... I already used it several times and I love it! Probably my best purchase from DealExtreme :)

Pros: - Just plug and play - Attach, press button, there you go! - Don't need to get out of my warm blanket, cross all the way to the other end of the room to switch on/off the lights! :-)

Cons: - None that I could identify

Other: Does what it does, remote controller for your light switch.

Pros: It works as specified. The remote unit is much better than I expected. I can point to anywhere in the room and it works. There is no need to direct pointing to the device. Good Product. Good Quality.

Cons: I could not find significant cons. You need space to install it, but I believe it would be hard to be smaller than it is.

Other: I'm very satisfied. Good product. I'm planning to buy more. Could be a bit cheaper (6 dollars would be good, I think)

Pros: Good, cheap, and does what is supposed to do, good distance range (for better or worst), its not infrared, so you can be in another room with door's closed and it will still act up, I dont know what other people is complaining about not understanding how it works, put it on the socket, put then the lightbulb, and you're done

Other: Good product overall

Pros: The product does what it is supposed to do, is simple and elegant. The remote control is robust and right size - not too small or big and clumsy. Even a kid can use it.

Cons: It takes some additional space so you might want to verify that the bulb still fits in with this. You cannot have extreme amount of watts behind it.

Other: This is just what I needed and it was a perfect answer to my requirements.

Pros: Excellent kit socket with remote control, ideal for large rooms of the house. You can turn on and off the lamp without leaving your seat. Or when you are lying down reading, and you do not have to give up sleep, just turn off the control. Works with incandescent, fluorescent and LED.

Cons: Could be made ??of a harder material.

Other: I also recommend using the external lighting, especially the garage of the house.

Pros: Very easy to use. You only take out the bulb, screw it in, and screw the bulb into the socket of the device. Now you are ready to use it. You don't have to directly point at the lamp to switch it off or on. We are using it when going to bed, so I can remotely switch off the lights when already in the bed, which is nice.

Cons: The socket itself is rather high, so it's probably better to use it in a bigger lamp so after you screw in the bulb it won't reach over the edge of the lamp for example. The socket itself is a bit crooked, but nothing you need to worry about.

Other: If you like the idea of shutting of your lights remotely then this is a no-brainer.

Pros: its very simple to use, no need to be expert, i.e. its just like another light bulb the range is quiet good, you can use it from distance of 8 meters including walls in its way you dont have to turn the remote directly to the lamp in order to use it, its simply need a little click

Cons: the price is a little bit high, specially when thinking about buying several of them

Other: its awesome, although the price is a little high I recommend every one to buy it

Pros: Easy to use. Just screw in the light bulb and screw the assembly into your light socket and it will just work. The control range is also quite far, more than 10m when there is no blockage and battery is new.This is a remote switch that use radio frequency hence no line of sight or near line of sight is needed when using it. The unit does not allow any setting on frequency or code but my guess is that they are shipped with a random setting of frequency or code because I bought two units and the two remote controls are not inter-operable. Hence you can control the two seperately. The built qulity is quite acceptable.

Cons: Nothing that I can think of. It just work as it is suppose to work.

Other: Just buy it if you have need to switch on light remotely. Price is good and it work well.
