Pros: Cheaper than other sticks with E4000 tuner. Good range for SDR work. Have not used it for TV. Also, it comes with a telescopic antenna, about 10 inch when fully extended, which is nice, you can adjust the length. The case is quite well built seems to be glued together unlike other that I bought before where you may peel it open with your nails. Also it comes with nice package.
Cons: Telecsopic antenna is good for strong UHF, for better reception an external antenna prefered. The F antenna connector will need a converter to BNC or SMA to allow it accept common off the shelf No remote control, anyway don't need it for SDR use.
Other: Will buy again for SDR use.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Well made construction, stay cool, easy to install, very sensitive recceiver for this price
Cons: none but no remote control option The antenna connection is pal European standard for any other style connection use an adaptor
Other: e4000 and rtl 2832 chipset work well with sdrsharp software and other software define radio software
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Works super as a SDR Radio, 52 Mhz > 2225 Mhz with the RDLSDR driver on OSX 10.8. If you are an aircraft monitoring enthusiast, you might have eyed some of the ADS-B radar boxes that allow you not only to receive ADS-B tracking information, as well as ACARS information, and live Air Traffic Control frequencies. These boxes typically go in the $800 range. If you are wanting to experiment with adding these features to your cheap ADS-B station, we can do it for about $40, using two additional RTL2832U sticks. This is of course assuming that you already using a RTL2832U stick for ADS-B reception with PlanePlotter.
Cons: None i can't see right now
Other: Super price, easy to use.

Pros: - Excellent package - Iec antenna connector - Solid housing - Excellent arrival time (under 20 days)
Cons: - Little bit more expensive than other tuners with r820t -No remote /but to me it is not a con.../
Other: Did not use it to watch TV but it is great cheap receiver from ~50-2000~ MHz Did some tests /see image / all of them working fine

Pros: Everything as advertised. Item received in nice colorful box. This item work perfectly as SDR radio dongle or ADS-B receiver with Flightradar24 service and others. Search for "SDRsharp" for more info. Tested with Microsoft Windows 7 and 8 (64bit). Good build quality, device has USB cover for storage protection. IEC antenna connector.
Cons: None
Other: I will highly recommend it to all SDR or ADS-B enthusiasts

Pros: This is the best dvb stick for use with the RTL-SDR software; it DOES come with the Elonics E4000 tuner, which is currently the best one for general SDR use (receive only). This package also comes with a slightly better antenna than most other cheap DVB-stick products.
Cons: None
Other: Great value for money for those interested in RTL-SDR
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Price is good Works very well, not only for its original intention, as Digital TV receiver for computers but also as cheap Software Defined Radio (SDR) unit Installation ans startup as SDR receiver took me less than 20 minutes. Manufacturing quality is good
Cons: Nothing I can figure out at this time
Other: Perfect for your first Softeare Defined Radio in combination , as example with SDR Sharp sofware

Pros: I bought this DVB-T usb stick to use it with Linux and it works great with Ubuntu 12.04 and MythTV. Receives well all the channels I can see on the "standard" tv. The pictures and colors are good, the signal is good. In the box there's also a usb cable, very useful because the stick is "big".
Cons: Somewhat slow when changing channel but it's really not a problem.
Other: It works great, it works with Linux and MythTV without problems.

Pros: * Works with Linux, but i had to install the latest drivers fom a git repo. See http://linuxtv.org/wiki/index.php/How_to_Obtain,_Build_and_Install_V4L-DVB_Device_Drivers and http://linuxtv.org/wiki/index.php/How_to_Obtain,_Build_and_Install_V4L-DVB_Device_Drivers#Retrieving_and_Building.2FCompiling_the_Latest_V4L-DVB_Source_Code for detailed instructions. * Cheap.
Cons: * Cheap * Included antenna is weak for DVB, but should be ok for FM.
Other: Buy two, then you can use tvheadend to record one channel while viewing one on another transponder.

Pros: Low cost, combined with the proper chipset makes this a fantastic unit for all SDR usage. Yes, this takes special software available online for free - and the setup for this is more complicated than with normal broadcast TV usage - but it's well worth the effort!
Cons: There really isn't anything negative to say - the product performs as advertised.
Other: This TV receiver is a fantastic value, not only for those looking to watch local broadcast TV - but for anyone, anywhere in the world that would like to experiment with "SDR" - software defined radio. Hams, Dx enthusiasts, FM listeners, Police, Fire, Aviation and Emergency Services radio - all can be received with this product with the correctly installed SDR software of your choice (free for the downloading online).
