Eastward YJ-E01 SSC P7 3-Mode 800-Lumen LED Bike Light Set - Black (4*18650)

Pros: - Bright. Good hotspot (as usual with P7 LED) and LOTS of spill (may blind oncoming pedestrians!!) - Waterproof. - Nice pricing. - Decent quality bag for accu holder.

Cons: - Weight. It's bombproof, ok, but it weighs TOO much. - Switch. You'll need to turn the light off, then on to change mode - it's annoying. - P7 is rather out-of-date now. I'd prefer XML T6 instead. - The cable from the lighthead is interfering with the screw from bar mount - so it could get damaged one day...

Other: You'll get what you pay for - not less, not more.

Pros: bright light. too bright on roads on "high" mode (:-).Tight seals, high and beautiful build quality. Battery holder excellent. Finally a way to reuse old laptop cells ... Dissassemble a "old" laptop battery yourself. Mostly one or two cells weak, rest runs in this lamp two or more hours at high setting. charger no issue ... just look around here. "Protected" cells ... academic issue using "build for li-ion" equipment

Cons: heavy weight, short cabling, nearly useless, but sturdy, pouch

Other: best for me: avoids stupid pre-build accu packs which fail upon on a single broken cell. Stays tough on mtb or rr-handle bar. forget to use on helmet - far too heavy
