Eastward YJ-E03 SSC P7 3-Mode 800-Lumen LED Bike Light Set - Black (4*18650)

Pros: Very bright light, great spill and throw. Great modes (bright, dim and flash). Battery low warning. Very nicely made battery holder. Very nicely made pouch. Nice light head unit.

Cons: Sealing on battery unit appears incomplete. The screw on end where the batteries come out has O ring - great, the other end - held with 2 screws appears not to be water proofed (no o-ring). The light unit has 1 o-ring behind the lens, none on the screw on front section - again appears it will leak. You have to take batteries out to charge -i.e. undo all the velcro holding the battery pack onto the bike. The mount for the light unit is only good for round smaller handlebars. No charger to be found on DX that allows direct plug into the battery unit.

Other: Better light is 30846.

Pros: The support of the batteries is very strong and well built.
The cable has a sufficient size to be set in a bike without much left over cable.
The light is strong enough to light a city street.
This bike light is a great safety device, because people can see you.

Cons: I have a flashlight with SSC-P7 LED flashlight and the light is a little stronger than this bike light. I believe that the position of "high" uses a slightly lower amperage than the LED can support to increase battery life.
The structure becomes very hot when it's in the "high". It is not possible hold with your hand. But have tested for continue 3 hours turned on in the "high " and there were no problems.

Other: Remember:
I will need 4 batteries 18650 and one charger. The chargers you can find at DX are for two batteries at the same time. So I recommend you buy two chargers to make things easier.
