EasyCap USB Video Capture Adapter

Pros: - Very cheap compared to where else you can buy them. - Very good build quality. - I liked that the LED that indicates that the device is working is not very bright, but well enough to see that it is working. - Video and sound quality are both very good, works with both PAL and NTSC.

Cons: - It was a bit tricky to install and took some time, but this is because I am using a linux operating system (Ubuntu) and not Windows as intended. - Otherwise no other notable cons.

Other: It is great! Especially for the price. A great and cheap way to tranfer old VCR films to your computer, as you can hardly find such movies exept on VCR. Bottomline: Buy!

Pros: This really works very fine. I have recorded my old camera tapes into my PC. The device does a fine job. I only found limits in my old camera, that is not so good. But I cannot say that the device affects the image quality at all.

Cons: There are only 2 things to improve: First, the sound provided through the device does not work, or I have not been able to make it work. This is not a major problem as you can take the sound directly from the camera or vhs player. Second, you must verify that you have all the cabling needed to connect the camera or vhs player to this device

Other: If you need to get your old tapes recorded into a PC or DVD, just consider this as a good choice.
