    Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

    Pros: Very decent build quality, though it is made of plastic it doesn't have a "plasticky" feel to it. Laser is very visible, even in moderate daylight. Retract mechanism is very snappy and the tape-lock works well.

    Cons: If anything the only con with this device is the fact that the tape is very short (only 3-4 meters or so).
    The first time i tried using the tape-lock mechanism it was very stiff to use and wouldn't engage properly. Every other time since then it engages just fine and doesn't take excessive force to use.

    Other: Cheap, handy, built reasonably well.
    Ignoring the fact the tape is a bit short, it's still a pretty good product.
