    Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

    Pros: Perfect for nano shrimp aquariums Quiet, easy to setup and use. Water current not strong for bettas and shrimp

    Cons: Would not be good filtration for lots of fish/heavy bioload Replacement media may be hard to come by unless you're comfortable making it yourself.

    Other: I would recommend it for small tanks with small bioloads or shrimp tanks. I would not recommend it for beginners however or people with small tanks and lots of fish or goldfish.
