Electrical Appliance RF Wireless Controller with Remote

Pros: - Allows you to control a single ac appliance. - Remote range is really good, +50m.
- Took a while for me to rewire the ceiling light to parallel, but once I did this, it was very simple to connect the box.

Cons: -None really, at this price you can get one to control the ceiling lights in a particular room.

Other: - If you know what this item does, and you have the know-how to connect it, its a pretty cool gadget to impress people with.

Pros: Works like a charm, decent range too, good for anyone who wants to remotely control a circuit.

Cons: Don't need advanced electrical experience but I would recommend it, easy to pull loose a live wire

Other: An excellent product for someone into modifying and making electrical projects.

Pros: + Remote controller looks nice. + Perfect as lightswitch when going to bed. + No restriction on switch placement.

Cons: - Cheap circuitry that doesn't seem to last very long. I repaired mine already.

Other: Cheap electronic device that makes life a bit easier.

Cons: my connections broke inside so I had to resolder. cant figure out how to connect it to lights with a light switch too.

Other: good if you want to make a wireless outlet

Pros: I'm assuming that once it is set up properly, the item should work as advertised. Remote build quality is excellent, electronics box is so-so, but seems ok. Range seems to be excellent, and price is good too. I'm in the US with 110VAC power.

Cons: My remote has buttons with a padlock shown Open and Closed instead of the pictured remote with buttons labeled A and B. The Open button will make the internal relay contacts close and power to the output goes on, but no combination of pressing or holding down of the Open button, or the Close, or both together will make the relay open up to turn off the output power. The only way to reset the relay is to unplug the input power.

Other: Help me please, either from a recent purchaser or DX personnel. Maybe the last batch shipped from the supplier has a faulty circuit? Thanks - I've always had good luck with DX products, hope to get this one going too.

very simple wiring.
supports 500W (on 220v).
Remote works even from 50 meters.
small enough to fit in a home fusebox.
I installed it in my fusebox to control my garage lightning so whn i get home eith the car, i can turn on the light before i enter the garage.

Cons: comes with only one remote :(, so my wife took the remote and i have to order another set only to get the remote.
I hope the new set eith remote will control the one i have.

Other: Nice gadget, very easy to install and use.

Pros: It's a good idea! Good for turn light off before sleep, for example.

Cons: My unit turns on easily, but it's very difficult to turn off.

Other: In order to turn off, I have to hold the padlock (it's not A and B as picture) for some seconds (between 5 and 30) while moving the antenna. It's like a bad contact, I don't know.

Cons: 1. There is no external antenna. If there is such an antenna at-least an antenna terminal. I modified my devices to use an external antenna so I can observe a much higher range now. Just solder a piece of wire to the antenna pin in device.
2. Cannot change the communication channel.

Other: A good product to provide remote controlling.

Pros: Excellent, Works well as described on 230V NZ. Build quality looks good. Nothing poor. Will probably need modifications to run at 110V, which was a simple change of a capacitor (as described in the comments at the bottom)

Cons: None! Markings on top are a bit smudged, but who cares right!

Other: If you are having problems turning this thing off, then it is probably due to running this thing at less than 230V, changing the capacitor inside with a suitable one (as per the comments at the bottom) will fix the latching problem on 110V.

Pros: Easy to install (if you know what you are doing with mains electricity). I have been using the switch with my lounge room lights as there are two controlled by the one wall switch, it allows independant control over the lights.

Cons: In this country (Australia) you are required by law to have a licenced electricain to install the unit as it is connected to mains.

Other: Great product and strongly recommended. I tried another item from here which controlled 2 channels, it seems to have died just after a year of use also both were installed at the same time so this using is more than just good.
