What is Bulk Rate? BulkRate is a semi-wholesale system with items priced separately from retail. When you use bulk rates, a flat $1.70 registered air mail fee will automatically be added to your cart to ensure delivery of package. While BulkRate's intention is to offer cheaper prices when you buy in bulk, because it is priced separately it on occassions show a higher than retail price. That's why we ask you to enter BULKRATE as a coupon code to manually activate the rates. You can always opt not to use the bulk rates. Pros: Does what it should do. Inexpensive.
Cons: None
Other: Price/performance rate seems good.

Pros: This is the best test hook of this kind i have seen, it opens fairly wide and closes firmly where many other models tend to lose their hold.
Cons: If i had to find something wrong, i'd say the top could stay on more firmly, byt if a thick enough wire is used, it will hold the hat on with no trouble.
Other: These are probably the best test clips of this kind you are going to find anywhere near this price.

Pros: I really needed this set of electrical testing hooks in my lab. They help me avoiding the need of someone when I need to make some measurements or need to give power or ground to part of a circuit. They have a powerful spring to keep the hook in place.
Cons: I wish I had a mixed colur test hooks bag. Same colour help confusing :), it's all the cons I can think of.
Other: Maybe ten are too much. but for the same price on DX I can get ONE here!

Pros: Cheaper than I can buy it locally
- save my time, fuel, parking fees of going downtown
- delivered right to your doorstep!!
Cons: The hook is "closed". If you want to hook a loose end cable, then it wud be fine. You can tread in the loose end of the cable into its eyelet.
Other: If you need it, forget going to your local store. Buy from here - it's cheaper.

Pros: These are indispensable when you are doing electronic experiments and want your hands free.
The build quality feels good but I have not done any extensive testing.
Cons: They come in only one color - yellow. I would have prefered at least two colors so you don't mix up the wires.
The hook itself is quite small so it can be hard to hook on to big things.
Other: If you don't mind getting only one color you should buy these.

Pros: 1.- Very low price. Unbeatable price. Prices here, in Spain, for this kind of connectors are not related with the real cost of them.
2.- Big suplied quantity. Sure they will break after some intente use, but you have a big bach to work with.
Cons: 1.- A little bit of better built quality would be welcome, but at this level of prices anyone knows what is buying.
2.- One unique color. A mix of colors or, at least, two colors will be advice for working fast and safer with them.
Other: Recommended item.

Pros: These are very necessary for anyone doing electronic work. You use the hook at the end to 'catch' a point in your circuit to measure, and attach a wire to the back end of the 'thing'. The wire is best soldered, not tied or wrapped! Both the 'business' end, and the end where you solder the wire, have a solid copper finish (maybe they're 100% copper - don't know). This is very important for ease of use, as soldering to different metals may get tricky - copper works best!
Cons: They all come in a single color, and this is really a major drawback - in fact, it's downright stupid! Given the good build quality and good copper conductor inside, it's very disappointing that the manifacturer did not choose to simply mix a few colors in the bag.
In fact, for the hooks to be useful, you really want to have an assortment of various color masking tapes, and 'color' them yourself with tape, to distinguish between the different probes.
Other: Get them, and get some masking tape in various colors, and you're in business!

Pros: Very very cheap!!
Came in a pack with 10 units but the price is the same to by only one in a local store
Works and the contact is not the best metal contact but works for low frequency, low voltage or simple analog application.
Cons: The plastic construction is dirty quality and "look and feel" seems fragile (actually I did not broke anyone but...). This is not really a problem since you have many other to use ;)
There are no color option!
Other: I wrongly ordered 4 packs... Very good error, now I have enough units to test, destroy and try again many times! Very cheap enough.

Pros: excellent price "good enough" to work in standard use small size for cramped PCBs
Cons: Plastic is soft and thin. It bends and is slightly translucent. All the other clips of this type I've used over the years have been stiffer and more opaque. The spring is pretty soft. The grip isn't the best. It's usable but can slip off larger diameter leads, esp. clipped-off leads on the trace side of a PCB The contact is pretty much a thin copper wire (maybe 26 gauge?), not a copper strip, so it isn't very rigid. The lead end (where you connect the multimeter wire to the clip) doesn't offer a very good contact I wrapped the lead end with colored tape, since these only come in one color, but the plastic is so soft that even tightly wrapped tape can flex it out of round. I wouldn't use these for current measurements
Other: The price is great. These will get the job done in many cases. I'm reasonably happy with this purchase, and may buy more someday, but I'm glad I have sturdier ones, too -- these will never be my whole assortment. I'd encourage you to try them. I just wanted you to have a better description of my impression, because even though I wasn't expecting much, these were flimsier than I had ever seen. Bottom line: at this price, you can't really lose
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: These hooks can hold very small parts, even those with very closely mounted leads. Spring loaded action seems to be of durable quality.
Cons: How about some red clips at this great price and quantity? Using all one color can lead to polarity mistakes, whick can sometimes be fatal for components!
Other: Great value at this price. Makes testing small stuff so easy. But multiple colors would be a great selling point. Maybe even package in a combination pack?
