Electronic Bark-Control Dog Collar with RF Wireless Remote Controller (Stops Barking)

Pros: * Helps 'educate' your dog.
* Not a painful shock.
* Weather resistant.
* Controller has Vibrate, Shock, Whistle?, and a LED torch.
* Not an automatic shocker. I didn't want my dog to stop barking, just howling.

Cons: * Fairly heavy on the batteries! I use the 'Soshine' AAA batteries from DX, and need to charge them weekly.
* Collar JUST fits my Rottweiler's neck!
* Cheapest price of any other product I have researched.
* I didn't discover this thing sooner :)

Other: Some people think that I'm cruel for getting this device to control my dog. Well to those people, I tested it on myself first, and it does NOT hurt. It's a little uncomfortable, and it's only needed to distract him. It's not like I zap him for fun, I love my dog! I have 2 very small children under 3, and the dog and them get on great. It just annoyed the hell out of me when he would howl from sirens in the middle of the night and wake up the kids :(

Pros: Very easy to use.
Batteries are included.
Good range.
pretty sturdy build.
Began educating my dog straight away.

Cons: Vibration alone is not enough to work at the beginning.
I doubt wether it would be suitable for outdoor use in anything less than good weather.

Other: This is not only great for dogs...It will also make a truly fun game or two.My advice...Buy more than one of these

Pros: when it arrived it used it immidialty it worked fine the dog dident get hurt by the shock just scared :p
the vibrate function was pretty funny(dog running around)

Cons: when the battery was empty and i put a new battery in it i just vibrated without me pushing any buttons :/

Other: it does not hurt the dog they just shock them for a bit i tested it on my self and it dident hurt so if you can get the right batterys for it once its empty you should buy it

didn't work on my dog because of his hair but tried on another dog and it worked.

Cons: my dog has a lot of fur around his neck (he's a sheltie) and when i put it around his neck he didn't feel anything. No reaction at all from him.
i tried it on another dog and it worked fairly well.

Other: works better for dogs with less fur.

Pros: This unit worked great for training my dog with issues of agression, excessive barking and excessive pulling on the leash. The remote has 4 buttons. - Vibration mode - works most times to grab my dogs attention. - Shock mode - Gets my dogs attention every time, to condition him not to do certain things. - Flashlight - nice to have, also I use it to make sure there is battery power - sound - I don't use this function but could be useful for training

Cons: - My dog is approx. 13 lbs and the collar that came with this unit was to big. - Build construction is fairly cheap, the antenna fell off, but it still works. - A belt clip would be nice so I could carry this around. - This unit would be terrible for a pet in the wrong hands. (Should be used for training purposes only.)

Other: - Even with the cons I would recommend this unit. The price was fairly good, and has really helped with training and correction for my dog.

Pros: Very easy to use, works perfectly, pushing the shock stop barking. good quality, discreet. a very positive point that the collar has a system that remains on standby when the dog is standing a while, saving baterria .

Cons: Should have to regulate the intensity of the shock, post after a while the dog gets used to shock.

Other: I am very pleased recommend. you can buy without fear, and good product.

Pros: Easy to operate since you get used to it. And easy to replace batteries. on short distances works pretty well. Vibrating feature is good after dog felt a shock - vibrating makes it obey and no need to shock again.

Cons: Energy saving feature makes turns it off if collar is not moving - but moving must be strong and it's not reacting on remote. On large distances signal is weak and if you don't see a collar there's a high possibility that it won't react on remote. Maybe it's a weak battery, but I think it's because of signal frequency.

Other: If you exactly know what you're going to do - buy it - it worth of its price.
