What is Bulk Rate? BulkRate is a semi-wholesale system with items priced separately from retail. When you use bulk rates, a flat $1.70 registered air mail fee will automatically be added to your cart to ensure delivery of package. While BulkRate's intention is to offer cheaper prices when you buy in bulk, because it is priced separately it on occassions show a higher than retail price. That's why we ask you to enter BULKRATE as a coupon code to manually activate the rates. You can always opt not to use the bulk rates. Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: In addition to the features listed in the description, this unit has a 12/24-hour clock, a speed comparator function showing whether you are riding above or below the average speed, a scan mode, and freeze frame memory to lock the information at the end of a ride segment (like a lap function). Compared to other Made in China products, it comes with fairly decent and comprehensive instructions with a chart of common wheel circumferences.
Cons: The mounting clamps are really flimsy, thin, brittle plastic.
There are not enough rubber spacers included for different handlebars and forks. The clamps are designed for really large diameter bars and fork legs. The rubber spacers are not wide enough and do not have raised flanges which make proper mounting and centering difficult.
The wheel magnet is huge and bulky. The magnet itself isn't bulky, but the fixing mechanism is.
The clock display does not turn off with the rest of the display.
Poor product packaging scratched the display. There was no removable protective film applied over the display.
Other: The fork and handlebar clamps could be much improved, but the head unit is very feature-packed for the price. The firmware seems to be solid and has a consistent user interface.

Pros: Good price compared to in-store comparable products. The mounting clamps are a bit flimsy but will probably hold for a long time once secured.
Cons: The interface is a bit odd to get used to. After a few usage you get used to it.
Other: Can't wait for the snow to melt so i can try this baby. I will order a few more to give out to friends who have bikes...
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Great deal, compared to other computers found in bike stores with the same level of functionality.
Cons: Bit hard to mount, and flimsy.
Make sure to ziptie everything down.
Other: Great for the price, good for calculating distances, and is especially useful if you have a electric or gas powered bike.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Great little bike computer, does all the functions you need with a simple two button interface. Easy to install, easy to unclip computer from holder when not in use (so no one steals it :P )
Cons: None really for the price.
Other: Looking for a bike computer but don't want to pay the bike shop prices? This unit is the one to go for. :)
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Has all the major functions as listed above. Comes with good setup instructions so installation on a front suspension mountain bike was a breeze. Accurate ( have tested whilst riding alongside another rider). Large easily read display. Length of wire sufficient for front wheel, but would be too
Cons: The mount that holds the computer is a litte flimsy, and could corrode with exposure to weather, leading to innaccuracies.
Spoke magnet easily overtightened leading to stripping of plastic thread. (Easily fixed with a drop of cyano).Length of wire sufficient for front wheel, but would be too short for rear wheel sensor mounting ( eg for use on indoor trainer )
Other: Recommended

Pros: As the title says this product is an absolute steal at this price. Any other cycle computer with these specs would cost, on average, four to six times more! Easy to fit though MTB users may have to use a cable tie to affix bracket for computer to their handlebars, as the bracket is a tad small for chunkier bars. Specs are great and it's easy to use, no complaints here, I bought four, one for myself and three as gifts.
Cons: None whatsoever, you just can't go wrong at this price. This really is an absolute bargain!!!
Other: If you're thinking about getting a cycle computer but you can't really justify the expense then this is the one for you. All main categories of information, speed, distance, time etc are covered and it even has cadence which is normally only found on the more expensive computers.
I was looking at spending £20-£30 on a computer but I cycle infrequently and couldn't really justify the expense. But at this price it's great to know how fast you're travelling and more importantly how far!

Pros: Easy to install, multiple functions, it has pretty much everything you can imagine: odometer, distance, time, average speed, maximum speed, current speed, clock, travel time. It can adjust to many wheel sizes and has an (almost) English manual. Very decent build quality, looks solid, nice plastics.
Cons: The bracket is a bit loose on my MTB handle bar, so you might want to put several layers of tape below it. No other cons I can think of.
Other: For the price, no question about it. Get it.

Pros: great value for money, good build quality. very easy to install. I found the sensor is also more reliable, and the two buttons and battery cover were designed as water proof, plus a lot more useful functions for less than half price than the one I bought locally, thanks DX.
Cons: takes nearly one month to deliver to my home, maybe because of back order. It does take me some times to figure it out how to use all those functions, you need do a lot of combinations to set the function you need, so sometimes a meter having too many functions is not always good.
Other: great value for money, very useful and fun to have a speed meter on your bike!
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: This speedometer is much cheaper than the MEC one. It is also very accurate. After setup the tire length, this one is comparable to my friend's GPS. This speedometer is also multifunctional, and have all the function I need. The DX service is also very good, got replaced for the first damaged one.
Cons: The first one was damaged from the shipping but got replaced by DX.
Can't stop automatically to calculate the average moving speed.
Other: The cheapest MEC one is $12+tax. This one is much cheaper, and work perfectly on my bicycle. I am going to order the other one.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Very good price, seems to work pretty well. Has several functions. The computer part can be removed from its base so nobody will steal this gadget when you are away.
Cons: The mounting clamps are really flimsy, thin, brittle plastic.
There are not enough rubber spacers included for different handlebars and forks. The clamps are designed for really large diameter bars and fork legs.
The wheel magnet is huge and bulky. The magnet itself isn't bulky, but the fixing mechanism is.
The clock display does not turn off with the rest of the display.
Other: The fork and handlebar clamps could be much improved, but the head unit is very feature-packed for the price. The firmware seems to be solid and has a consistent user interface.
