ELM327 v1.4b OBD2 OBDII Bluetooth Auto Car Diagnostic Scan Tool (DC 12V)

Pros: Good Price for the build quality. Comes with software that is OK on most newer cars. Bluetooth is a very handy feature. Works outside the car up to about 2m using ODBscope for my Nokia S60 Phone.

Cons: Very difficult to setup with a PC if you don't know the PIN code and if it automatically takes a "com port" number that isn't listed by the Software. Some of the software on the CD had virus called Infostealer.Gampass attached. Not nice!

Other: With My S60 phone I can now log and graph my my cars stats while someone else drives. I can keep track of messages and warnings too using data and remote serve (using smart phone only).

Pros: Item works as described. Not 100% sure how I will use this. Was able to connect to it using my Bluetooth phone and my lapop using a terminal program.

Cons: Disc that came with unit had some key generators and a virus. Luckly I was able to remove virus without loosing any data. I did not install any of the software and downloaded a program for my phone. The unit seems to be powered all the time, not sure if I'd leave it plugged in all the time.

Other: Very good value.

Pros: Good price, good build quality. Small size and weight. Comes on CD with software and drivers. Work inside and near the car w my phone Nokia E52 (S60) on Bluetooth. Connected with no problems. Suitable for my car Lifan Smiley (aka 320).

Cons: on CD with programs has some keygen, which is recognized by the virus.

Other: A good choice, suitable for many cars, and for different devices with different OS.

Pros: Plug n´play, very easy to use, just plug it in your cars OBD socket, switch on your cars electricity, connect to the reader (1234) and start your app on the phone or computer.

Cons: none yet.

Other: I believe this is must have tool for car enthusiast, DIY mechanics for diagnostics and all who want to know more of their car. Recommended +++++

Pros: Easy to use OBD diagnostic tool. It can be used with my ASUS Android tablet. Even with my Samsung S2 smartphone, but for my eyes the letters are to small then :-) Also with a windows laptop useable. I don't know if it works under win 7 or 8..

Cons: Can not be tested and/or learned how to use without attaching it to the car's OBD plug. So while learning the programs you have to sit in the car.

Other: Certenly worth the money. No cables needed any more!

Pros: Very good price. - Easy pairing, quick connect and fast reading. - Three indicator LEDs. - Small weight and dimensions. - Resistant lock mechanism.

Cons: Delivery time should be 7 - 10 days, but it took a month. - Pins are not very straight and hard. - It has not circuits for energy saving.

Other: It is not good as a professional and much more expensive equipment, but for the price it is a very useful and well manufacturing tool for hobby use. I recommend.
