Embedded Linux 4-CH Network DVR Digital Video Recorder w/ Dual USB/LAN/VGA/RS485/Video/Audio/Mouse

Pros: A very good product with a great price. Can manage up to four cameras. I had absolutely no difficulty to put it to work. Just opened it to install a HDD, pluged the four cameras, mouse, monitor ( shared with computer with the help of a DVI for the computer and a VGA for the DVR) and it worked! Have images on the TV of the kitchen ( via video output), on the computer monitor and on every other computer attached to the LAN.

Cons: When the power goes out the HDD has to be reset, maybe its my HDD that is a little old, one of the firsts serials.

Other: Dx has discontinued this item but SKU: 151451 is apparently the same one.

Pros: - Good functionality overall - Good set of accessories (mouse, remote, screws and cables for the HDD) - No problems connecting a 1TB HDD - Quite regular firmware updates so far - Almost everything works: VGA output, network, motion detection - Nice web interface (no problems in Firefox, flash player is required) - Windows DVR client included - Remote access from the android (using the free TMEyePro app) - Quite stable except for the issues with the playback (see cons)

Cons: - The DVR came without the 4 anti-slip pads at the bottom - had to buy some and stick them myself - The DVR came without the fan on the back (which is clearly seen on the photos) - The GUI could be more usable - The Playback function sometimes (quite often, actually) freezes the DVR to the point when a hard reset is needed - Very slow USB download speed - about 1 MB/s

Other: Decent DVR. If the playback stability issue will be fixed in the future firmware updates - I would recommend it.
