    Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

    Pros: I have been using this external flash battery pack for many many shorts. It has not disappointed me. The refresh rate has improved significantly and I can shoot a few continuous shots at ISO 1600 without any problem. There is a nice LED light indicating when it is in operation. No problem synching with my Canon EOS 7D. Flash compensation perform as per normal. I am using a 580 EXII flash. This works well with rechargeable battery. The connection cable to the flash light works snuggly.

    Cons: Carrying extra 8 pieces of AA battery is pretty heavy. Please take note of this extra weight before buying. I use the free pouch to attach this battery pack to my RapidBlack shoulder strap so that the camera will not be too heavy.

    Other: Get it and start shooting flash photography! You will not regret it.
