Eye-piece for Canon EOS 1000D/500D/450D/400D/350D/550D

Pros: Well built and sturdy, does not fall easily from the camera. I've been using it since I lost my original canon eyepiece rubber when it fell an I didn't notice it. It fits perfectly on the viewfinder of my canon eos 1000d (aka canon rebel XS).

Cons: Its rubber is a bit hard. It is not as comfortable as the original one.

Other: it is worth its price.

Pros: It fits well for my EOS 450D. No problems with quality.

Cons: Could be bit cheaper. Four bucks for little piece of plastic and piece of rubber... cmon DX! The rubber could be softer. No another complains here.

Other: In my original eyepiece one of locking legs came off, so I fixed it by sticking here little piece of plastic. It holds well, but it was not removable. So I decided to change it, and bought new here. The new one fits, can be removed (I did not remove it often, so so far it works) and its good replacement. If you lost or broke your, it is reasonable move to bought this one as spare. The price could be lower, but the product is good enough.

Pros: I've purchased this eye-piece replacement quite a while after my original Canon eye-piece rubber was torn (leaving only its plastic placeholder). After getting this replacement eye-piece, I'm not sure what led me wait so much until I looked for purchasing it... This is a perfect replacement. It sits tightly inside its location, and rubber feels just like Canon genuine one.

Cons: None I can think of...

Other: This is a great quality replacement. If you need one - don't wait - Just order it.

Pros: It fits EOS 1000D. It works as eyepiece quite ok. Rubber is hard, it doesn't fall of like on factory eyepiece, which I had to glue to stay put.

Cons: Clip system is not of "spring" type like original, I have a feeling that teeth on the clip will wear over time. Rubber on the eyepiece is hard, not soft like on the factory eyepiece, more like plastic, than rubber.

Other: It gets the job done. Looks a bit rough, it is not as nice as factory piece is, but if you lack an eyepiece, this will be quite OK. I also ordered another for eos 350D for my friend.

Pros: I lost the original on my Canon Rebel XT (400D) for a few years now and I have finally found an affordable replacement! It fits perfectly and does the job. No more hard corners near the eyes or scratches on glasses!

Cons: The plastics don't match exactly, with some discolouration on the plastic frame near the eyepiece being most noticeable, but who cares, it works!

Other: Get it if you need it, the price is right and it works. I can comfortably look through the viewfinder without worrying about mucking up my glasses

Pros: Great replacement for my lost eye-piece. Works as expected, fits perfectly. Feels robust and durable (only time will tell...) Very cheap considering the fact it finally made my camera whole again...

Cons: A little harder than the original eye-piece, rougher material. This is probably also a pro because the material feels like it is less likely to tear.

Other: Would buy it again.
