FiiO E3 3.5mm Earphone Volume Booster Power Amplifier (Black)

Pros: - Its pretty cheap

- Its small
- It can hold protected batteries (1xAAA)
- It really improve the sound quality
- A little red LED turns on when you plug in your headphones. Dont know why or what it used for though xD

Cons: - There are none !

Other: Its just great and it works... And its Cheap.. Just buy it, you will not regret it..

Pros: This headphone amplifier is so cheap. I didn't realise how small it is. It's about half the size of a G1 ipod shuffle. Great build quality, the plastic finish is really nice.When listening it gives a boost in overall volume with a bit more emphasis on bass and midrange. So far I've only tried it on the apple headphones but music sounds better with this pocket amp. Since it's so cheap I would recommend everyone get one to try out.

Other: Just give it a try. You will be happy with its performance. Even if it doesn't work well with your headphones, you can give it as a gift to friends :)

Pros: Surprisingly good build, ease of use, and provides bass boost, volume gain, and some overall clarity. Especially good for lower bitrate MP3s and other music files.

Cons: Not much here. You get what you get for what you pay for. But, you do get a lot...

Other: If you like your MP3 player and your headphones, great! If you would like to like them more, buy this thing! You will not be sorry.

Pros: - This really makes the sound quality better, much better!!
- It's a affordable price, considering of what you get/recieve..
- It only runs on 1 single AAA. Which is really great. And will amplifies for several hours.
- The material feel kinda alright, and has a really cool smooth look.

Cons: - The AAA is pretty hard to get out once its placed, cuz there is a "long" room for it. Its kinda hard to get out with your finger.
- There is no ON/OFF button on it.
- NO cons on the performance it do, not at all...

Other: This is really great and im glad that i bought this. It really works and it WILL make the sound quality better. Once you get it and test it, you will notice right away, no doubt.. I need to say that i only have one of those Neckheadphones that goes around your neck, not the best headphones, but i can clearly hear and say, that it makes the sound alot better. I cant imagine how great this would be on some really good headphones (one of those big ones that makes you look stupid to carry around with)...
GREAT DEAL !! Get This, you wont regret it!

Pros: It's small and it works. It does two things. Makes the volume a tad loouder. With my Nokia N95 8GB, I now drop it down to 70% volume level for good loudness. I used to have to listen to 90% or 100% even with my Shure SE110 earphone. It also makes the music much more "fuller" and alive compared to it being hollow without it. Improves bass in a very nice way. No distorting or bloating. Treble is also very smooth.

Cons: Increased hiss when using high sensitivity earphones while there is no music. But once music kicks in, you can't hear it.
It doesn't have a power button. So you have to plug the earphone out if you want it to turn off while not using it. No clip to hang it on your shirt etc.

Other: GET IT. It will improve any mobile phone or small weak mp3 player's output. Can listen to music at a lower volume setting with increased fullness to the sound.

Pros: This mini amp is very cheap and quite powerful. I sense that the volume is increased by 15-30% (depend on the source).
It feels like music timing had decreased by 1/2-1 step, I think this should be Fiio E3's character. The bass is increased excellently deeper.

Cons: There is no on/off switch and/or gain control.
It'll turn on when you plug the headphone's jack on it.
I'm waiting for Fiio E5 as they will added this feature.

Other: Just buy it! if you intent to try some headphone amp but don't wanna spend too much.

Pros: Very nice amp with a wide soundstage. It also add a bit of bass t the music. And the amp is small, very small.
It can even power a big hi-impedance headphone!

Cons: The intercnnectcable is low quality. With a good mp3 player and a decent headphone you will need a hi-quality cable.
There is also some background hiss

Other: If you like a good sound you will definly like this amp!
If you like good sound, just buy this amp!

Pros: - Makes bad headphones sound better
- Cheapest around here
- You can have it in any colour, as long as it's black (or in this case it could be white too)
- Small enough
- Pretty good build quality
- Edged desing..

Cons: - ..which some people can hate
- Makes your headphones have a little static (which doesn't really annoy when listening to music)
- Biggest problem is that it doesn't have on-off button, instead you power it off via plugging the headphones off, sometimes you forgot to plug them and your batteries are drained

Other: - Does it's job to a certain point

Pros: - very small
- good quality
- improves sound level and quality
- very easy to use
- cheapest amplifier around, costs more than 3 times in a local electronic shop

Cons: - No on/off switch

Other: I's actually a multi-purpose amplifier, not only for the "hearing-impaired" with a cheap MP3 player.

Pros: -A very nice item with good through the register amplifying.
-The amplifier is very small. Much smaller than it appears on the pictures.
-Uses a single AAA battery.
-Comes in a high quality product packaging.

Cons: -The battery won't last for near 20 hours. Drains battery pretty quick.
-No On/Off button. I believe that whether it is on or off is controlled by whether the cable is unplugged or not.
-Adds a low static noise.
-The Supplied cable felt a little bit on the cheap side.

Other: A really good amplifier for the money. Don't expect a miracle but for just a few dollars this item is in my opinion a must buy.
