What is Bulk Rate? BulkRate is a semi-wholesale system with items priced separately from retail. When you use bulk rates, a flat $1.70 registered air mail fee will automatically be added to your cart to ensure delivery of package. While BulkRate's intention is to offer cheaper prices when you buy in bulk, because it is priced separately it on occassions show a higher than retail price. That's why we ask you to enter BULKRATE as a coupon code to manually activate the rates. You can always opt not to use the bulk rates. If you are looking for wholesale prices please feel free to contact us.

Pros: I love how thin these tips are. They come in blue, dark blue, black, and red. I bought the regular blue pack. They are really cheap for twelve gel pens. Can't find such a deal anywhere else.
Cons: Unfortunately, the thin tips bring up the other problem: flow of ink. They are great to use in the beginning, but halfway through my pens (i've tried more than 2 pens by now) start to choke. The ink sometimes flow well and sometimes are filled with gaps. I don't know if it's the build or the paper dust that gets into the pens...
Other: I wouldn't buy them again even though they're cheap. I might consider to buy a thicker tip pen so i won't have to deal with the ink flow problem again.

Pros: Cheap price. Cost of this 12 pack is equivalent to a 2 pack from a brand name company. It's hard to find .4 and under needle tip gel pens in Canada, most are .7
Cons: 2 exploded during shipping and 1 was a dud (25% fail). At least the ink is self contained when they explode. Inconsistent full ink levels between them. Some of the caps don't click tight.
Other: Good deal if they all work or if you lose/give pens all the time. With so many companies offering gel pens now, I'd stick to a brand name.
