What is Bulk Rate? BulkRate is a semi-wholesale system with items priced separately from retail. When you use bulk rates, a flat $1.70 registered air mail fee will automatically be added to your cart to ensure delivery of package. While BulkRate's intention is to offer cheaper prices when you buy in bulk, because it is priced separately it on occassions show a higher than retail price. That's why we ask you to enter BULKRATE as a coupon code to manually activate the rates. You can always opt not to use the bulk rates. If you are looking for wholesale prices please feel free to contact us.

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Built with really good plastic quality, fits nicely on the Sony A200, works perfect with cheap radio triggers.
Cons: Won`t work with my Sony A200 and my sunpack AUTO30 flash directly attached to the camera
I´ve tested it with the PC sync connection and studio flashes and won`t work either, but it`s about Sony`s voltage level, not about the DX hot Shoe. The solution to this is buying some radio triggers and you get much more possibilities with your flash off the camera axis.
Other: This is a "Must Have" if you want to use radio triggers.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: It is cheap for an hot shoe (that works with Sony Alpha). It's good quality of plastic and it don't move if you hold your camera diagonal.
Cons: My Sony alpha doesn't reconize the hot shoe, so I can only make pictures in de full Manual mode. With Auto and half-auto the picture is too bright.
Other: So it is cheap but don't think it is better than buying a Sony alpha flashlight. Because you can only use the manual function. But it is nice if you have a old flash from another company. Now I can use that old flash again
