Flashing-Eyes Monkey 2-LED Flashlight Keychain with Sound Effects

Pros: Press the button on this deceptively tranquil monkey and the high-pitched squeal that accompanies the BLAZING blue eyes (and I mean overpoweringly, blindingly, eye-watering bright) eyes will turn heads, attract all children within hearing distance and make people wonder about your sanity.

Cons: Ordered two and one arrived broken. A darn shame, too, as I was going to gift the extra one to spread the insanity. Iffy build-quality in the internal workings as far as I can tell.

Other: This is a far better novelty than the product page suggests, and I'll likely order more to include in Christmas stockings and the like. Just hope that the newer monkeys don't arrive broken at a 1-in-2 ratio as is my current experience.

Seriously though, this monkey is quite a treat. When people see him, they have to pick him up.
He also stops making sounds as soon as you let go of the button on his head. This allows you to make him howl in a mix/DJ style.

Cons: I'm pretty sure this monkey just stole my soul.
Also, if the power went out, and he was my only source of light, I'm not sure how long I could put up with his howl.

Pros: This thing is just goofy. I bought it for a gift for my goofy friend. What more could you want from a key chain. It's eyes light up red and it makes crazy monkey noises. It makes for a good laugh.

Cons: It's not expensive or anything, but it seems like something I'd see in the dollar store. It is loud, so that could be a good or bad thing depending on who you are and where you're at. More than likely it'll go off in your pocket or purse or whatever you put it.

Other: Bottomline-- it's just a funny keychain. If you have a weird goofy friend buy it for them, or if that's you, get it for yourself.

* It's pretty loud when it screams (it's a scream, not what you would expect).

Cons: * I think a more stereotypical monkey ooh-ooh-aah-aah noise would be cooler, and for the monkey to be brown instead of black

Other: If you like monkeys, or know someone who does, then buy one. Or, if you know someone who is afraid of monkeys, but it and then use it to chase them around with :D

Pros: Great little toy. Got it for kid who likes monkeys. The eyes light up REALLY bright. I feel confident if it was hung on keychain or backpack it wouldn't break off easily.

Other: In others reviews they said it looks to evil and that the screech of the monkey was really loud. It's not as loud as they make it seem, and its not an evil screech. Sounds like a regular monkey. The eyes a little weird looking though being bright blue, but its still a cool toy.

Cons: So I was thinking about what I could put into this section, but nothing really comes to mind. and it's no use for covert operations, unless there are a lot of real monkey around to mask the noise.

Pros: this thing has pretty bright led lights, and looks like a monkey. when you press the light button it also make a very loud monkey call. it would be great in a emergency situation if you need to shine it in someones eyes. 2 small leds works good for close range

Pros: Got this one as a gift for my girlfriend, who likes monkeys (and with all these $2 items at DX, it's easy to find a small thing to include with your order). I received it today - well, it's a monkey-shaped key chain, and when you press the button on its head it lets out a blood-curdling scream and the leds in its eyes emit a bright blue light. It does what it's supposed to do.

Cons: Then again, it does it with a bit too much enthusiasm. The sound effects are a bit too loud, and coupled with the bright lights in its eyes I think this might scare the younger ones among us. Perhaps you'd better keep this one as a gift for an adult.

Other: It's a fun item, but the fact that it may scare children does diminish its value a bit. Keep this in mind when purchasing.

Pros: Cute design of monkey making monkey noise and blue led light coming out of eyes. Easy to use, simply remove plastic strip and press button to activate.

Cons: Not fantastic build quality, paint work on monkey's face a little shabby and not professionally done. Paint work on body of monkey a little rough and unevenly spread. Monkey noise a little monotonous and lack variety.

Other: Purely for novelty sake, not much useful as a flash light or any other purpose. Recommended for kids amusement.
