    Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

    Pros: This is a really useful piece of equipment if, like me you are always repairing bits of electronic equipment and need a bit of a hand when doing fine soldering work.
    The base is heavy enough to keep everything in place, and the 'V' shape allows you to get the work directly underneath.
    The lens is more than adequate for the job, nice and clear, and comes with a soft pouch to keep it clean.

    Cons: The LED's are not particularly bright in daylight, and it's unlikely that you would be using this in the dark, so I would have liked to have seen some more powerful lighting.

    Other: Pretty much perfect for my needs - no need for further comment.
