Pros: Great light output and spread for reading in bed without disturbing your partner. Works well at 240V

Cons: Does not have provision for earthing which is vital. Switch feels cheap like it wont last long but replacement is simple and cheap.

Other: If you want a nice looking light with a great throw for the task you cant go wrong. You will need basic electrical skills to get it connected and importantly - Earthed! Dont use this light without the earth connected to the body, it is just too dangerous.

Pros: overall good light. Light output is decent for a reading light. Not like your looking to light up the entire room. The spot is pretty localized instead of a huge throw. Is just the right amount of light for reading in the dark. Not too much, not to little. Nice white light instead of yellow or blue. Head is solid aluminum so would work very well for heat dissapation.

Cons: while this light is good, it did require a little bit of modifying to get to work good. The emitter was not fastened in any way to the head so thermal dissapation was very poor. I ended up drilling and tapping holes to fasten the emitter to the head. Thermal epoxy would work well too. The switch arrived broken into many parts and I had to remove it and replace it with a rocker switch. The base isn't very heavy and is designed to be screwed into something to hold it securely. My personal belief is taht it would be better with some heavy substance (sand, or metal) to hold it in place.

Other: overall a good light. If your handy with repairs and dont' mind putting forth a little bit of effort this light is very good. I'll be sending it off to a friend with a lathe to put some radial fins in the head for extra heat dissapation. Would recommend it if you like modifying something.

Pros: Great brightness and aimable so you dont disturb your partner reading in bed.
Nice finish and modern look so it blends in well with bedroom decor

Cons: Some will say it is too bright - the light reflected from the white page lights up the room and into my sleeping partners face.
Light needs to be mounted on a base and wired to a plug before it will work and most won't have the skills for that.

Other: Need a reading for lamp for bed? - get one!
Make sure though that you have the skills or know someone who does to wire it up and dont forget to Earth the body!!

Pros: Real good reading ligth. Strong Led, a little to white. Easy to instal. Vintage. Ótima luz de leitura. Led forte, com luz um pouco branca. Estilosa.

Cons: If you turn it around, the ligth may became loose. So you have to turn it olny in the clock way. Se você girar para a esquerda vai soltar a rosca e a luz vai ficar caindo para o lado.

Other: I have one of those im my bed, and like a lot. I may buy another one. Tenho uma destas na cama. Talvez compre outra para o outro lado.
