What is Bulk Rate? BulkRate is a semi-wholesale system with items priced separately from retail. When you use bulk rates, a flat $1.70 registered air mail fee will automatically be added to your cart to ensure delivery of package. While BulkRate's intention is to offer cheaper prices when you buy in bulk, because it is priced separately it on occassions show a higher than retail price. That's why we ask you to enter BULKRATE as a coupon code to manually activate the rates. You can always opt not to use the bulk rates. If you are looking for wholesale prices please feel free to contact us.

Pros: Good build quality. Not too loose. Working very well.
Cons: Nothing.
Other: Very good tripod for that price. Cheapest gorilla what i ever seen. Get this if you are looking nice mountable tripod. You can twist it as you want because it is flexible.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: A bit more than 1/4 the price of the equivalent Gorillapod. Looks pretty similar, and specs are greater than the Gorillapod SLR.
Cons: Won't hold a standard sized SLR (I've got a Canon 30d) with a pretty normal sized lens (28-105 USM.) The top ball (behaves like a basic ball head,) loses grip. There is no stiffness adjustment on the top ball.
Other: Great deal, but not quite up to the task of holding my camera. Would buy a knockoff of the larger Gorillapod SLR-Zoom if it became available at a reasonable price.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: You really can't go wrong at this price. Astonishing Gorillapod clone looks just like the "original" and though smaller than I thought it would be, it is fine with my Lumix FZ8 (though wouldn't trust it with heavy teleconverter). If they bring out a copy of the SLR Zoom Gorillapod , I'm first in the queue!
Cons: Durability of the non slip rubber will be a factor - if this wears quickly then the whole thing becomes useless. But it seems very well made and I'll post back later to let you all know how it is standing up to use.
Other: Its a no brainer - get one!
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Easy to use, good guality, very useful.
Cons: NONE
Other: I just ordered one more as a christmas present for a friend of mine
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Wow its like jobys tripod nutin to worry about build well bought over 20 of this nasty gadget all my friends are equiped now with this power tool! i love it!
Cons: it smells strange china plastic like fresh out the box for approx. 48hrs
Other: Buy it and you wont regret it!
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Cheap alternative to the genuine gorillapads, strong enough for a large p&s or small DSLR
Cons: Like the other reviewer said, not stiff enough for standard sized DSLRs
Other: Pretty good build, but if you have a camera bigger than a nikon d40 with kit lens (shown in the pictures), the top ball head is not stiff enough to hold. I've decided to use this to hold my off camera flash once my flash trigger arrives. Hopefully dx will carry the replica of the gorillapad slr-zoom version soon.

Pros: This is just like those gorilla ones but at a much lower price.
Have a ultra compact camera so could have gotten away with smaller size but this gives more options.
Small enough to carry around and setup in awkward places.
So far it is working fine including the locking mechanism.
Cons: Packaging isn't impressive but who cares. It's what inside that counts.
And yes it does smell a bit funny at first right out of packaging.
Other: Good quality at a great price.

Pros: If you are looking for a cheap tripod this is the one to get. The flexible design makes it a lot more useful than a normal small tripod.
There is a very handy quick release as well.
It is a lot lighter than I expected but it doesn't make it unstable, just nicer to carry in a bag.
Cons: The construction seems pretty good, but for this price I'm going to expect it to loosen up and break at some point. However I don't think it'll happen too soon.
Also I wouldn't bother with the smaller ones unless you have one of the really small cameras. This large one seems to be just right for my compact.
Other: Want a cheap tripod for a compact camera or a camcorder? Just get this one.

Pros: this tripod is usefull
its not so large as it should be when someone wrote LARGE ...but if you put the legs together you can get about 25cm NAD the floor but practically you need to put the legs more away from each other for better stability
It has a QUICK LOCK SYSTEM to put the camera quickly on it and its good to use it in snow when you can not use the small tripods under 10cm ..
black color is nice
NOW I CAN SHOOT MACRO ALSO WITHOUT BIG TRIPOD. YEAH..
Cons: can't put it together with my camera to safebox of my camera due to bigger proportions
Other: mabye DX sell another one with the same parameters and better price ..this one is also ok.

Pros: - Nice and big. Much bigger compared to the smallest one that is available. Could fit in your pocket, might feel a bit awkward though.
- Stiff joints for now. Since it is not Joby brand, I would not be shocked if it got weak over time.
- Looks just like the real thing by Joby at a fraction of the cost.
Cons: - Not on-brand, would not be shocked if the joints got weak over time.
- Instantly, I can feel they are not as stiff as my Joby-branded DSLR-Zoom version; altohugh that one is meant for much heavier cameras
Other: I own a small Joby one, the SLR-zoom Joby one, and then this one. It fits right in with the family and was actually the cheapest one of the bunch. Does its job, and is super useful. Would not hesitate to get one of these if you take any sort of serious photographs.
