Pros: Okay it's a microphone and it's compact and flexible. So what else? IT ROCKS! I have the Canon 5DMKII professional photo camera. It cost me about 3500 dollar. So yes it's good. The built in mic is... okay but lot's of people use an external one. When you film (it can film too) and the image stabilizer is on, expect a LOT of noise. I wanted to reduce this with THIS MIC. You plug it in on the side, aim it at the front and off you go. Sound quality? WAY ABOVE expectations!!! Far superiour to Canon's built in Mic! Mine has been under water for 3 min so that might have to do with it, still it worked GREAT! Also you hardly will hear any image stabilizer.
Cons: None. Seriously none.
Other: Get it, especially if you have a digital SLR with mic in and you need proper sound and don't want to spend 300 dollar on an OK mic.

Pros: Looks like solid build, fits my Pentax K-5 camera well and has great sensitivity. How well it delivers stereo sound picture I can't say but it sounds better than camera internal microphone
Cons: Cell phone created electromagnetic waves create audible interference with mic circuitry. I haven't noticed it with internal microphone, perhaps not good shielding. Gooseneck doesn't keep the shape as expected.
Other: Sensitivem small, quite well build - no excuse to purchase it. You'll thank me you did...

Pros: -flexes and rotates away -very convenient 90º, small head plug -sound quality far beyond that of internal mics on laptops -sponge on mic takes away hisses and wind rumour
Cons: -the sponge got loose on first usage, may get lost -rotation is nice, but too much rotation is not good: needs a bit of flexing over the keyboard to let it stay erected
Other: carry it along within your laptop softcell zipped bag for privacy enhanced voip

Pros: This microphone is great for begging in youtube or other video making. Not for professionals or voice/instrumental recording. But great for skype and other video calls.
Cons: The length of the flexible neck is not very long. Which is why i prefer the shirt clip on microphones. Seems a tad bit fragile, watch out when unplugging the microphone. Again, not for professional or instrumental/voice recording.
Other: It's a great casual microphone for talking to friends but not for vido and film making. Way better than the stock laptop microphone anyways. still i think the neck is a bit short.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: this is a small microphone with a flexible neck. it is light and small and easy to have in a computer case.
Cons: Doesn't work really good. The sounds isn't that good. The head of the microphone is also, according to me, a bit big, it could have been made a bit smaller in order to make the item a little bit more slim than it is at this moment.
Other: Cheap product but does not produce a good sound.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: As soon as I plugged it in, the guys on my VoIP server said: "Wow, that's the best sounding microphone you've ever had." The neck is just rigid enough to be useful, and just flexible enough to be useful.
Cons: I can't think of any really.
Other: Buy a case of these, send them to your friends! This microphone is comparable to microphone that would cost, literally, TEN TIMES this much in the states. Buy a case. Now.
